I was given my two Death Troopers—one of whom had to be trained to run like a Death Trooper and not like a musical theatre star

Eeeeeeh, I’m with Disney on this one.
Shawshank is like that. It’s just ok, but folks will basically burn your house down around your ears for holding that opinion. Outside of Wright, the cast of BP was pretty darn great, but the actual movie was just another MCU flick.
I define woke as: Going out of your way to make sure that you’re not being an asshole, so I define anti-woke as: Going out of your way to make sure that you’re as much of an asshole as is possible. What a great way to live your life.
Yes, that’s correct, but we are talking about people who are exactly that dim.
i want a modern day gritty bibleman reboot where he busts into a teenager’s room and kills him for spilling his seed
Im thinking hes going to join the rebellion
Honestly, it’s just a really impressive show on all fronts — writing, directing, production design, acting, music, all pulling together to show a rare level of control over tone. If it can keep this up through two seasons, it’s in danger of becoming the best thing Star Wars has ever done.
We are living in harsh times, if we have to accept changes like that. Who knows, what horror happens next. ‘Rage against the Machine’ making political songs?
I want the option to immediately rewatch the show and have it be 10 to 25% longer.
Much better, yes. Still terrible, also yes.
I’ve been trying to put my finger on what’s been off about this show, and it didn’t really come together until the third act of this episode.
Then maybe don’t dig into the comments section of an article about a piece of “children’s tv”?
Gtfoh with this bullshit. You know damn well that this story (assuming it’s true) isn’t simply about someone “changing their mind about something.” You also know damn well that if Boebert simply had a “personal opinion” about abortion, there wouldn’t be a problem. Guess what, everyone has a personal opinion about…
While I do fully condone calling out Boebert for being a hypocrite, but before this can really be taken seriously, the PAC in question should actually present some proof. At the moment it is fully leaning on just claiming that they are have seen the evidence, but it is questionable to publish such allegations without…
What impressed me even more than her own Star Wars franchise coming to her defense was Star Trek - SNW captain Anson Mount doing so, unprompted.
However, she also tells Luke in Return of the Jedi that she doesn’t remember her mother when clearly she has a great relationship with her here (even if we’ve perhaps retroactively been able to conflate the meaning of that line to be Padme rather than Breha).
Eh, think of it as a change in creative teams. The Waid/Samnee run is nothing like the Bendis/Maleev or Miller/Mazzucchelli versions, but it’s still recognizably Daredevil.
Aww yeah, can’t wait! At this point I have the same relationship with Westworld as with Raised by Wolves: are the shows deeply flawed? Sure! Do I care? Not one bit! I’m totally along the crazy ride, wherever it takes.
I disagree - in part. I think season 1 was a masterpiece, of both style and substance. The rest of the seasons were utterly unnecessary.
