Exactly. It’s down to personal willpower and if miss stuff down to binge-watching it’s entirely your own fault.

Unfortunately that’s a consequence of binge watching. It did play out on TV pretty much as it did in the books but when you binge watch you tend to miss stuff.
I’m so glad they ditched Elvi’s weird infatuation with Holden! That was by far the worst part of the book and it almost ruined her character.
I think it was more an issue with Agents of Shield once they started doing really big things like introducing Inhumans, having massive blackouts and crashing spaceships into cities. You can’t really have widespread Inhumans and not have it mentioned in the movies.
“It certainly doesn’t look like the forest moon of Endor, which is where you may assume scraps of a fully armed and in-the-middle-of-exploding battlesations to imminently land after the Rebels struck the final blow in Return of the Jedi.”
You aren’t alone in that and most of the professional critics agree with you. I did think Force Awakens was very enjoyable at the time but I’d always be mentally picking holes in it after it had finished. With The Last Jedi I was genuinely pleasantly surprised that it felt like it was doing something different...and…
I think it’s more that they’ve eliminated all harmful bacteria a long, long time ago more than anything.
The only real problem I had with Alita was the complete and utter lack of an ending. So, yes, please do more.
While we’re doing decent books with much more famous adaptations someone should take another look at This Island Earth. There is lots of interesting stuff to work with in that book and it’s dramatically different from the film. It’s another one of those things with a title where the adaptation somehow manages to keep…
My impression of the first trailer and what I’d heard of the comics rather turned me off and made me think it all seemed rather mean-spirited and unpleasant but I’ve got to say I’m very glad I gave it a try as I really enjoyed it.
I love the fifth book but please, please, please either dramatically change or skip the sixth; It was ABYSMAL.
I was actually glad after my day off was over and I could go to work because of the air conditioning!
Maybe don’t mangle all the dialogue and cut off the jokes before they’ve even got going this time around.
It’s hardly a stupid nitpick though is it? Thor is his sodding name not his job title. If they were all called The God of Thunder then it’s a different kettle of fish.
I love the idea of Natalie Portman coming back and being the Goddess of Thunder but I’ll never get my head around the idea that she is called Thor. It’s like Falcon taking on the mantle of Captain America and changing his name to Steve! It just seems monumentally daft to me.
I prefer the ‘tail landing’ Roci though I always thought it wasn’t especially convincing it could go into an atmosphere at all, let alone take off and land. Still, at least they won’t have to deal with sideways sets!
Well I suppose it’s the closest I’ll ever get to seeing Nemesis the Warlock in ‘live action’ and one property I NEVER expected to get the TV treatment.
The only think stunning about this is than anyone thought it was a good idea. STOP REMAKING GOOD FILMS! TRY THE ONES THAT HAD POTENTIAL BUT WERE RUBBISH!!!
They should just do Imajica or Weaveworld though the first one in particular would cost all the money.
I loved Captain Marvel and had no problems with Brie Larsen but I think you are rather assuming his reasoning and putting words in his mouth. You can say you disagree with someone call someone a bad actor without assuming it’s all about gender.
