I don’t know. Right off the bat I would agree about the length being too short. But on further thought 27 issues is over two years of story telling assuming it is monthly. Multiple pages of descriptive text can be conveyed in a panel or two. I would bet they could stay pretty faithful, but time will tell.

Something tells me you’ll be unhappy with whatever the final result is.
