I left the Evangelical tradition after the election of 45, when it became clear to me that nobody believed a damn word of the holy book they claimed to be central to their life. Still a Christian, but not Evangelical.
I really appreciate that you took the time to parse out the nuance and complexity evident in Faith’s character. She really is trying to be all things to all people—but I stop short of according her the level of sympathy you’re showing here, for three reasons:
First and foremost, even if she’s now clean, she’s actively…
I hated fighting Faith Seed, the highest-ranking woman in Far Cry 5’s fictional cult. She was confusing, annoying, and—like all the game’s enemies—wanted to kill me. I was supposed to hate her, but I didn’t relish winning our final battle. Faith embodies the ugliness of the game’s cult, The Project at Eden’s Gate,…
I’m actually a little bit disappointed - when I saw Silent Hill in the thumbnail, I came down here ready for a rumble. Easily the best film adaptation of a video game, period (not counting animation), and I will fight for it’s honor.
It was great how the REmake played with expectations of that hallway.
What a re-fleshing article.
What about the [SPOILER] from Life Is Strange?
When it rains, the noises creep me out
I’ve never seen someone be so completely, absolute, horrifically wrong about something.

One of his buddies, a World of Warcraft commentator, had just fetched him a new specimen: a young woman, wearing little…
I’ve been waiting for Gamebox 1.1 in the hopes that they’d patch in a more original story.
Stacie, since you mentioned it you might be a good person to ask: what did you think of Kholat? I was initially intrigued when Steam suggested it to me but the reviews have been extremely mixed.
Lone Survivor is like $3 on PS Plus and it’s lovely. I recommend adding it to a Halloween rotation of spooky games.
Stacie, did you find that crafting a certain way(workbench Vs on-the-fly or focus on upgrades rather than ammo) might have led to the lack of supplies later on? Just trying to prepare a play style before I start the game.
More reviews gotta mention important things like this.
One question. Is this the type of game where the resource management/crafting is like Tomb Raider or like Resident Evil. If it’s like Resident Evil, I’ll pass.
0/10 - Can’t pet the cat in the office, literally unplayable.
Other then Dawn of the Dead (and remake) I feel like all the movies on this list arent as well known to the public unless you are specifically a horror fan.
