Oh man, did you see Bill Sienkiewicz (artist of the New Mutants’ Demon Bear stories, amongst MANY others) ripped on him for DAYS on twitter, challenging him to a draw-off for charity, before Adams blocked him.

Buck Rogers is definitely something that needs a cool, weird, version. I feel like there was a comic book out about ten years ago that tried that and it looked neat (but I gave up on comics about that time as just not being cost efficient for my money - I could spend $20 for one night’s read, or $20 for two non-comic Read more

Funny you should mention how horny this version is: it’s the one thing I remember about it.

Because they don’t require licensing, or payments for rights to estates or authors. They can take a readily recognizable title and do with it as they please. Includes: Frankenstein (certainly due for one of those soon), Dracula, Moses, Abraham Lincoln, John Henry, Paul Bunyon, etc... It’s all free chicken.

He actually tweeted at Taco Bell to not taunt the Illuminati, after that one commercial of theirs.

He also believed in the Illuminati so I’ll give him a pass for just plain being nuts

More towing cpacity and cargo space than a Jeep? But smaller than a van or suburban? Cheaper than a LandRover? Get a Ford Expedition, normal wheelbase. Get it with the Ecoboost engine (so 2015 or newer) and you’ll get 20MPG highway (yes, you will, I have gotten up to 23 mpg on extended freeway driving). 4WD to pull Read more

Depends on if you think the dialogue is worth it or not. I know the first dialogue between Fay and Everett was dense, staccato and little hard to parse...but that may be the point. After that scene, where she’s sitting at the switchboard, then the one with Billy on the line are riveting, in my opinion. Everett softens Read more

Ay least wait for Jim Carrey to show up before you give up on the movie.  He put it over the top from blah to hah!  (The orphan joke may have been tasteless but was one of the funnier bits I've seen in many months. ).

Can someone explain why everyone keeps calling it “Luke’s” lightsaber?  He didn’t build it, he didn’t wield it as a Jedi.  Anakin did.  Luke’s was the green one from TROJ.  I’m not usually that kind of geek, but it’s a pretty glaring thing, I think.
