I think it’s clear what she meant. She has a duty to fight for the American people. Sure, she could be working in the private sector, making games, and she’d enjoy that, but she felt a calling to serve.

And some people really love games like this.
It’s a pattern. You’d notice it if you didn’t consider queer characters so replaceable. I included a link filled with media that makes an example of this trope.
So many people say “Oh, but this is <Insert Game/Movie/TV Show here>, people die all the time!”
What they don’t realize is how frequently those characters are the lone LGBTQ people in the show. They don’t realize that the survival rate or at least happy ending rate for media’s gay characters is nearly 0.
It’s such a cool idea, but seems like one of those designs that suffers from “no female engineers.” I have no idea how to get those on with earrings comfortably. The fact that they stay in seems like magic though.
No one would care about the future of the human race, they’d be too focused on their survival to care.
Society certainly gives us the opportunities.
Excuse me while I go buy a Focus RS, the last great Ford in North America.
Movies always show future cars being sleek and beautiful and fast.
Huh? Sorry, not listening, assuming you’re just making up your complaints now.
Ok, so not a white male, just a man who decides which women are, and which aren’t credible, knowing nothing about their stories.
You’re a white male who thinks he’s listening to others, but you’re making it quite clear that you’re not. Every single person who isn’t a white male has had to work harder than someone with every other factor being equal would have had to work.
“The ones who are genuinely need help are silent unfortunately. The ones who bitch and cry often are self victimizing.”
How about you actually try listening to women complaining about the toxic environment in these communities instead of ignoring them? We’re telling you it exists. We’re telling you that we’ve been pushed out of these communities by harassment, gamergate, and the negative reactions to #MeToo. You don’t hear about it…
Ok, let’s say you’re set to give a big speech tomorrow.
Reddit, or any online forum they’ve been pushed out of by rape threats
This is exactly why medicine should not be completely a for-profit industry.
If you allow a majority to use hate speech to silent a minority, you’re not a bastion of free speech, you’re just as oppressive as any official censorship would be.
Yes, Youtube’s ad stunts are horrible. But making that any kind of excuse for the shooting normalizes this violence. It’s literally victim blaming, and these journalists should have known better. Despicable.
She was found sleeping in her car outside of YouTube before the shooting. Police absolutely could have done something.
