That’d be a logical (if cold) argument except for the fact that HP utterly tanked while Carly was running it.

Or as Yahoo calls it, “Remixed.”

I was gonna say the same. Except substitute cold medicine for bourbon.

I had a Vornado 510 which was quite decent... until the dogs managed to snag the extension cord and pull it off a (fairly low) table. The front cover popped off and one of the blades snapped. End of the fan.

It probably confuses the hell out of physicists in that other universe, too.

“This is the big difference here - liberals think government is the answer, conservatives think the people are the answer.”

That might be true if you add “conservatives think corporations are people, and that people with more money have more rights than people with less money” to that mix.

I’m a liberal, and the way I

Pretty much. (Glucose monitors tend to have a pointy end that you poke under your skin, tape it up,and wear an electronic gadget on your belt, which transmits to your phone, etc.)

I want a non-invasive continuous glucose monitor on my wrist, or even a monitor “tattoo.” Both of those have been “right around the corner”

I got into Minuum, and while it’s far from perfect it’s been better for me than most.

I’m forever hitting “b” instead of spacebar but it usually works it out, as long as I stop and check it before I’ve typed too many words in a row that way.

This seems promising but I immediately miss the haptic feedback... we’ll see.

To be pedantic, it’s a spectrum analyzer rather than an equalizer, unless it actually adjusts the frequency response of the audio.

There’s a scene in “So Long And Thanks For All The Fish” where a man decides that humanity has lost its mind because there are instructions printed on a package of toothpicks.

Apparently we’re much worse off than he ever suspected.

I’m looking for more of a 70% discount.

Carrier has arrived!

I'm definitely having mixed feelings. I got really, really excited for Phantom Menace and then sat there dumbfounded with a hollow feeling inside when actually watching it.

My worry about Force Awakens is it's going to overcompensate, and just be a bunch of nostalgia button-pushing but with a new cute robot, and it

I’ve been considering this recently, having realized that a lot of the structure I once had in my life — the set of labels I used to define myself — have gone or were never really important. I’ve been struggling with new labels and realizing they just don’t fit and that that’s okay. I don’t really need a list of

Hi. You haven’t met me. I’m 43. I have a mechnical keyboard (a relatively cheap one) at home and it feels a lot nicer than generic stock keyboards; I’m considering buying a second one for work if I can’t get them to provide me with one. I have a strong preference for brown switches; they are less clicky but feel good,

The Nixeus Moda is $52.77 on Amazon. It’s got Kailh brown switches rather than genuine Cherry MX brown, but it’s pretty much a perfect clone. I have one of these at home, with doubled-up O-rings added to silence it a bit more, and I love it. (Even if it looks a bit goofy.)

Fantastic music recommendations here!

Some tests give you a score for each of the four factors along a scale of 0-100, which is far more insightful. Still hardly perfect.

Over the several times I’ve taken the test, I tend to get 100% “I” or close to it, but T/F and P/J hover around 50% and are quite fluid.
