Is there some Jalopnik rule that whenever talking about a GM product every comment that could be considered a complement must be followed with a jab?

Does anyone else have problems where vidoes just don’t play well when they’re hosted on the site? Youtube embeds work great, but I can never watch an original Jnik video because it has to stop and load every 5 seconds, literally.

Boy I am NOT a fan of the dozen or so different layouts for transmissions automatics seem to have now. Say what you want about column and console shifters at least they all worked the same and you could drop into any car and know how it worked. 

Aside from the center console cup holders and a mention of the info screen resolution and lane tracking, not a single sentence dedicated to the driver’s ergonomics, controls, or technology bits.

The contours/trim above the wheel openings are also weird looking.

It is also astoundingly ugly looking. Whereas Toyota gets its right with the new 4Runner the design on this thing is much like many products produced by Hyundai: the design is all over the place. Just a great big hot mess.

I do not care for the push button shifter. In an emergency, I don’t wantto have to hunt for Neutral.

Quilting reminds me of my grandmother.

Can we with the quilting of all the leather? Everybody’s quilting all the leather now with quilty looking patterns. Everything looks like a Bentley. Can’t support all the quilting.
