It was definitely the best of the four direct to video films. And just really damn memorable despite some flaws.

Actually your Bender’s Big Score comparison is more apt than you realize. The Universe took care of its two Fitz problem by killing one!

*Back to the Future II spoilers*

Think Back to the Future II. Like how Doc explained that if they traveled to the future it would be the Biff-Reality future, not the “main” future.

The only way to fuck up the “new” timeline would be to go back immediately after they were transported into the future and wake up/stop

Especially if there’s a little for daddy....

Exactly. As much artistry as he brought to Yoda, he was always a hired gun. With the Muppets, he was one of the driving creative forces. Maybe he’s a dick in real life, whatever, but he’s more than earned the right to feel protective of his (co)-creations.

I also think it’s possible that The Muppets worked as well as they did based on the specific chemistry of the specific performers. You don’t hear people saying, “Man, why isn’t that cover band exactly as good as the Beatles?” I mean, maybe you do. I don’t know where everyone hangs out.

The Muppets have meta humor built into their DNA, that’s how they had always been depicted by their creator, and was a key part of the style of humor the Muppets were known for. Asking they be depicted without any sort of fourth wall breaking shenanigans is like asking Batman not have the batmobile, or Donald Duck

1) The cost to produce Justice League was estimated at 300 million dollars.

In a way, New York City is the real main character.

Check out Norm Macdonald Live for some episodes with close-up shots so ludicrous, you’d think they must be done intentionally as a joke.

I took it as triumphant. He was telling her how stupid she was to give him an excuse and an out for killing her.

I didn’t know people didn’t know who Dril was.

It seemed so obvious and YET. It still shocked the hell outta me.

My strongly held belief predates the news they are both named Winston, and thus refers to the originally established Winston.

Her number, for starters.

As someone who has never cared for football but reluctantly accepts that this has basically become a semi-official national holiday, I am all for jazzing it up with whatever ridiculous crap they want to throw in there.

Maybe a player has to fight an actual representative of their mascot to advance to the third

The most recent episode felt like a countdown to a house fire. Plus Kevin got his necklace back, that part was nice.

I’m not sure why the existence of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th film ruins your ability to sit back and fondly remember the first.

mother! was a good movie. I am prepared to defend this opinion.
