Plus we already know from Red Dragon that Freddie is on borrowed time.

While we're talking about 90's abrupt suckages, I'm surprised no one has done a Hatesong for that Sting tune about "if the Russians love their children too." My sweetheart put that song on yesterday just to see how I'd react. So bad.

Ah U2. In the immortal words of Casey Casem, "This is bullshit. These guys are from England, and who gives a fuck?" "It's just a bunch of names that don't mean diddly-shit."

MTV bleeped it way back when the video came out. Probably because they weren't getting paid for the advertising.

He does look a bit like Mitch Miller, so maybe that's what he was going for. Honestly, I've met enough truly rabid jew-haters that I can't be bothered with stupid stuff like this any more. If he's being racist, he's an amateur.

I seem to remember an account of some Norsemen who starved to death because they refused to go fishing when there was no game. They were like, "we're the men who don't eat fish."

Ignorance isn't so much about not knowing as not needing to know because you already know.

I think they prefer the term "racialist." I really shouldn't bother but sometimes I just wonder what those motherfuckers are up to lately.

Sing along with Mitch!

He had a bit part in Community S1. Could have been played by anyone.

I always say, if you're with someone who understands what you say 3/4 of the time, that's about as good as it gets. And if they are super hot, well no harm done there either.

If you love Reid Fleming, there should be plenty of stuff we can both laugh about.

"Cellos held between thighs in a dark room."

I got the impression the "incentive programme" was about the company holding leverage over certain people to make them play ball. I guess at first we were supposed to think they'd been offered sweet sweet biotech, but why do that if the company is already kidnapping people?

I suspect he's been "busy" playing Bane of the Cosmic Forge.

That is my favorite Casey Casem moment. Well, that and his U2 moment.

Never seen that before. It definitely could have worked if she'd just turned a corner and seen that while escaping, but I think at the time it was scarier not knowing.

I remember that hearing about the blob gave me nightmares as a kid. Seeing the movie was actually a relief.

Also from a behavioral standpoint, in the original at least. In spite of all its pointy parts, it left no blood behind when it took people, and I don't recall any real evidence that it even ate. Seeing people slaughtered by it in later films was nowhere near as scary.

The difference is Casey went out of his way to learn those dances the kids were doing. Also Casey could have quite the foul mouth sometimes.
