North Africans are light skinned and so are many Africans from the horn and in South Africa and that is likely due to mixing with outsiders. In Africa, outside of the Mediterranean north and the temperate Cape, having light skin is a detriment to one’s health.

That’s not even really though. It was just such a large difference the skin tones was a bit striking. I mean, Marshall was really light skinned and Boseman is really dark skinned and the contrast was off putting. Plus, dark skinned men haven’t trouble getting casted, it’s dark skinned women who’ve been set aside.
