So let me get thing right. We're not even allowed to mention company trademarks in anything written online? Will Ikea contact Gizmodo to take down this article because it uses their trademarked name?

What next? Not being allowed to even speak company trademarks?

HUGE mistake. why the hell would they do such a thing. they are giving credit to IKEA!!

How much did it cost them to send these takedown notices? How much would it have cost to buy the domain?

Another company that doesn't know how the internet works.

"Not a bad hypothesis"

For me it's not a problem, but a super power. If I need to sneeze, I look for a bright source of light. It's pretty convenient.

So... what's so terrible with using a traditional ball that behaves the way players expect without having to pour silly amounts of money into a new ball design? Seems like such a massive waste of time and money.

[insert obligatory request for a Firefox version (or point us to an alternative)]

Bad chart. My 42" 1080p TV that's 8 feet away should look great according to this chart. Unfortunately, I can clearly see individual pixels. Looking forward to a 55" 4K screen (but I'll wait until it's sub-$1,000) thank you very much.

That's okay, only 1% of the population is going to watch anything where 4k would really make a difference given the conditions (distance/size/lighting/content). 4k is a sucker's game.

And you'll enjoy it for a couple days before someone steals it.

I just want a setting that will force it into Timeline mode every time. I want to chronologically review the events of the day, I don't want facebook trying to guess what I want to see.

I can't believe I'm going to vote for this, but Viber is pretty impressive. My wife and I were out in the country for a weekend and only had EDGE coverage. She was able to call home with decent sound quality and zero latency in the call. Also, it seems to be able to seamlessly move from Wifi to cellular coverage

I can't get rid of the stupid messaging apps, because everyone is using another stupid one! (And don't bring up multi-client apps; none of them support Whatsapp—the bane of my communicative existance.)

My great friend died of cancer yesterday of Anti-Plastic Wilms Tumor. The chances of getting cancer in 2000 was 1 in 10, as of 2013, it is 1 in 2.6. Cancer is coming, for any reasons. Cell tower radiation, GMOs, Lead. Anything.

I know that complaining about Facebook changes is high on the list of "most ridiculous things you can waste your time on", but what is the hate-on that FB has for showing posts in chronological order? If their algorithm for determining what I was interested in was even vaguely accurate I might be more accepting, but

I absolutely use Adblock and my browsing experience is fantastic. I actually delve further into each page that I view regularly and examine the various scripts — blocking a large number of them eliminates tracking sites, annoying slide-ins and such. My wife who browses from her IPad can hardly recognize the same sites

Does anyone else get a huge data hog from adblock plus on android? I'm surprised that no one has mentioned it.

That is all pointless. Engineer a lock that combines properties of different material types to bust angle grinders/snips/hammers and then worry about adding stupid electronics to it. A guy with an angle grinder turns the lock into a really high tech garbage an filler in 20 seconds.

Didn't switch from Apple soon enough. THAT'S the problem.
