I don't know what i'm implying?

I'm just saying articles titles "white men don't cat call" are always flawed, there's always an asshole somewhere, no matter the country of origin.

Also people need to stop touching people. I would rather be yelled at weekly for the rest of my life than have my ass grabbed. Bleugh.

I didn't actually say what you're implying.

Some white women have this problem, too, with black men. It's clearly not as rampant, as 1)guys are far more bold and creepier 2)most black males do not have any significant hair or 3)those of us that do usually have dreds, which people erroneously think are "all bad".

I am italian, and I've been catcalled mostly by other italians. Still, the racist stereotype is that "the immigrants" are harrassing and raping italian women. It drives me crazy, mostly because Italy can be really really mysoginistic, but it's ok as long as it comes from an italian, not someone from the Middle-East or

Apparently my "anecdotal evidence" doesn't mean anything.

OBVIOUSLY since my country is 98% white none of us ever, ever get harassed, and when we do, it must be that nasty dirty 2% of the population.

That white guy on friday didn't yell out his van window at my tits.

1. The title of the article clearly says that white men DO NOT catcall. NONE whatsoever. So yes, my story and the other women here sharing their stories completely shatters that false notion.

The fun part is to see whether s/he'll actually answer your point.

On Tuesday, while waiting as my tattoo artist prepped her station before inking me, a white man leaving the parlor/gallery with his girlfriend came up behind me and ran his hands through my afro.

I'll be sure to tell the white man who shouted out of his truck about fucking me up the ass that he wasn't catcalling. And the man who called me honey and then screamed at me that he had the right to call me honey because this is America.

Eh, I mean, he's not really breaking any rules or posting anything graphic. He's just goes on every street-harassment post and tries to drum up the usual race-baiting, #notallmen nonsense. He also keeps posting a video of a handsome white guy getting cat-called by women and gay men which somehow clearly invalidates

Flagging seems completely useless on Gawker, as the trolls never get banned. Hoping it works better on Jez, because the Kinja mods at Gawker are obviously asleep at the wheel.

I live in Europe. In Scotland. I live in a very white country in a pretty white continent. With the exception of the one boy who wanted to "lick me all over" - they're all white. Including the creepy creepy creepy old men in Italy.

Does this mean i hallucinated the experience, or your arguement is kind of bullshit?

You mentioned this in passing so I just want to pull it back out of the ether:

Women of color are vulnerable. Women of SIZE are also vulnerable (regardless of color, but especially if they are both of color AND size).

All the discussions sparked around this issue seem to focus entirely on the fact that women are

And the guy who created his burner solely for the trolling of every post about this street harassment discussion for the past few weeks is right on top of it. Gotta applaud his steadfastness.

If someone makes a movie about slavery, does it also have to be about the Trail of Tears?

Are you insinuating that it's ok to beat people to death just because they are illegal aliens? The law should be enforced as it should and yeah there are despicable people that happen to be illegal aliens, but that doesn't mean beat the shit out of everyone. Border patrol agents have to follow the law as well.

You're right, I'm sort of running around with a hammer here and everything is starting to look like a nail. I haven't seen the other items you mention (Arfin, Alexander), so I'll look them up. Except for Ani DiFranco, that one shines out like a beacon of intellectual bankruptcy.

I didnt say I dont think its wrong and (more importantly) illegal + should be prosecuted.

Atlanta is the black gay capital of the world so it's not that socially conservative. Not anymore.

No. I'm a Texan. We keep Texas. We can kick the neocons out.
