Did your stations get the version with the butter tarts?

Some friends of mine saw the Arcade Fire in Hamilton, like, a month or less before they first started to blow up. They were excited as hell about what they heard that night. There was a tangible sense of momentum about that band at the time, I think.

Hey, another Londoner (or I completely fucked up my facts)! I don't know why it seems funny to me that the legacies of Helix and the Derma Wand have been consolidated into one family, but it does.

It's tricky to answer that question, as one would ideally have lived in both countries in order to know what was popular at a given time, but I think that some hip-hop subgenres (I'm thinking dirty south and crunk in particular) probably weren't as big here as they were in the US. Other than that, I'm mostly drawing

The follow-up wasn't as good, but there are some decent songs on it. I can't really look at that band objectively because of the memories associated with it. Every song is like a time machine to early high school.

I never really understood what the hell happened there, but it's distressing. They knew each other from schoolboy days, damn it. Music shouldn't tear people apart like that.

I didn't know if that one made it over to the US or not. That reminds me, though: Men Without Hats! We gave you the Safety Dance!

It was interesting to reach the point in my youth where I realized that some of our household musical names were probably unknown in the US. You couldn't get away from the Tea Party (so many guitarists in high school learned that one instrumental) or Our Lady Peace for a while here, but I don't think they saw any

Our musicians definitely did well for themselves in the US back during the '60s and '70s. Gordon Lightfoot, Anne Murray, the Guess Who, Rush, Paul Anka, Leonard Cohen, April Wine, Ian and Sylvia Tyson (I think? I was under the impression that they had some crossover success), Neil Young, and Joni Mitchell all had at

Bellow bellow bellow heat heat AHHH HOW MANY TIMES AM I SUPPOSED TO HIT IT I HATE MAKING HORSESHOES

It seems like a pretty obvious troll. This is far from the first vicious impersonation the comments have seen. It may well be the same person who was behind some of the others.

I have no idea how Jimmy Carr could plausibly have spent much time around Rob Lowe, if any. He's good at this kind of thing, so he'll be funny, but I think this is pure dues-paying to break into the US.

Gavrilo Princip only killed one person and his wife in a single attack. I think that the assassination of Franz Ferdinand could be strongly argued to be an act of terrorism. I don't think that the number of targets or attacks constitutes a hard-and-fast definition of terrorism.

If we're still sticking with this somewhat strained analogy, then, it seems like you're talking about how the hackers in this case are wronging Jones, but are less culpable than they could have been if they were both wronging her and eroding the public's trust in some manner of security software. If that's the case,

I haven't listened to an actual full hip-hop album in ages, so I don't know whether or not the genre as a whole ever cut down on the goddamned skits. The Carnival was ludicrously skit-heavy, but the worst part is that it wasn't even unusual for the time.

It's surprisingly difficult, which is part of how I knew it was worth doing. The key for me was to expand on something I'd been doing since I was a teenager. Basically, I try to make masturbation luxurious, for lack of a better term. I can't really afford toys and such, but that's not really what I'm referring to.

A few months back, some good friends of mine hosted a themed party. The theme was "Bring It On: In It To Gin It". We had all five movies and a shitload of gin (as well as "cheerbeer" and "spirit fingers" for those who aren't so fond of pining themselves in the face). We made it through about four of them before

I thought about this song today for the first time in years (possibly). I didn't even hear it playing or anything. This is not an efficient use of your psychic powers, Dada.

I think I see where communication has gone a bit awry here. I certainly don't intend what I'm saying about the alt-right to imply that they're off the hook, so to speak. My opinion was limited to a guess about how they'll collapse and mutate within a few years. I keep forgetting that saying that always seems to

$100 in a safety deposit box in a bank. $100 in a wallet on a table. Which of these is right to steal?
