The outbursts do get explained to a degree in a later episode.

One of the things the show does do well is eventually shows that the way Danny and Davos were trained really just represses their emotions in a destructive manner, both accounting for Danny's outbursts and Davos' near-meltdown and general resentment

Nor with the rushed production, which I feel people forget.

He's been hit and miss for me, but I don't think that's all his fault. Some of the lines he has to say are just clunkers.

W-War Machine? Is that you?

DiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee?

I mean taking into account we're talking TV quality here, it's not so bad.

After all the hype, where people saw charisma I just saw a dude not doing the best job of acting drunk. Was the character engaging? Sure, just by contrast of that character against the norm on the show - not to take away from the fact he physically did the job well.
In the end though, being a fun drunk is one thing,

Yeah whatever, I can burn toast too

Ch…inatown?

Well I just told another poster that I gave the whole season a 6/10, so if that's being biased, I'm fine with it. Have a good one.

Actually there was a Mortal Kombat TV show that ran for one season in '98-'99.

**it's okay for people to disagree. it doesn't mean they have to be biased or are being disingenuous**

Jesus dude. You're discounting my points by accusing me of "mental gymnastics" and bias, and I just dropped an example right in your lap showing that I'm obviously not.

"Should", but
it becomes apparently that he's drastically under-trained - he doesn't even know how to heal until Bakuto shows him how. He's an Immortal Weapon in formality only. As said by Davos, Madame Gao, and even under his own admission, he's not proving to be a great Iron Fist.

Honestly, an overall 6/10. Flashes of greatness, a lot of mehness. Their take on Danny is all over the map but a lot of the supporting cast really shines, especially mid-late in the show. Nothing as bad as Robyn was in Jessica Jones.

My own post in this comment section:

I'm not the one accusing someone of "mental gymnastics" just because they have a different opinion of the show than myself. I've said the show has it's problems, which is the literal opposite of going out of one's way to defend something. I've noted the areas where *I* think it's worked and where it hasn't. The fact

"Claire, you seem really attached to that letter"

I just specifically said a lot of the execution was lacking, how am I defending it exactly? Me and my mental gymnastics and rose tinted glasses and etc I guess.
Sorry if I'm not aboard the overblown hate wagon for what's an average show at worst.
