I wouldn’t say the guard having a pregnant wife was a cheap device if it actually worked. It wasn’t a tragic death because there wasn’t enough time to truly know the character well, but I was definitely surprised by the turn of events and it was sad to see him go.
Yeah, being that she’s a morbid murder-history fan who probably inhales true crime podcasts, I thought it was incredibly in-character.
Whatever to Elon but
Star Wars should have been added, but I guess people would be confused as to whether that means standard Star Wars fans or the toxic incel contingent
“wait there’s a difference? lol”
Castlevania looked fine
Haha. Would you call it a key formative experience?
It’s not very often I watch an episode and come away feeling I’ve just watched a perfect hour/half hour of television (Community’s Remedial Chaos Theory also comes to mind) but wow, this was really great. Sissy Spacek should take a bow and then some.
I mean sure, but there’s only so many characters you can stuff into 10 episodes of television. What matters to me is that they tell a great story with the characters we actually have.
While my taste has waned on things I dug as a teen (ie: any Kevin Smith film that isn’t Clerks), I’m pretty sure “Not Without My Anus” is timeless and one of the best bait-and-switches/trolls in TV. Everyone was so pissed when it happened and from recollection response to the episode was pretty negative. It’s one of…

This show is in its sixth episode and it’s still not really clear what the threat is
Matt Berry’s character is basically medieval Zapp Brannigan and I am completely fine with that.
I know of too many self called “Libertarians” who are pro-Trump, so
Why bother opening his mouth at all then, if he’s going to beg off and say it’s all unreliable anyway? Sounds like centrist schmuckery.
In my post I specifically said that “in comics” Black Cat had a black leather catsuit first, then Catwoman. It’s funny that while TV Catwoman existed in the mid-late 60's, comic book Catwoman didn’t have her Darwyn Cooke black leather redesign until ‘01, far after Black Cat’s debut in the late 70's.
I like her as a character because she’s one of the few members of Spider-Man’s supporting cast who’s also a vigilante/hero, compared to the majority who are civilians. So she adds something different there. Also her personality is a lot of fun, and in the early 00's she got a lot of dimension and shading as a trusted…
Catwoman in the silver age had: a purple tunic/dress with a green cape; a full green spandex suit with a sort of masquerade mask; and a blue-black swimsuit with tights and red trimmed pirate boots.
Black Cat’s classic costume was a basic black spandex outfit with white gloves and boots, with white fur trim around the…
“Let’s meet in the middle and say no it isn’t”
She’s a fun character, David
