While I think skepticism is always good, I wouldn’t be too dismissive of Twitter as a first-person news source.

Caveat on the “hey, why no link” stuff: Reporters live-tweeting often don’t have anything they can link to or know the URL yet (they’re busy in the field).

That said, if someone appears to be a reporter doing that, it’s worth looking at their Twitter bio and timeline to see who they work for and to see if they normally…

Look, I enjoy The Adventure Zone (although nowadays, I’m more partial to Nerd Poker and Not Another D&D Podcast), but does anyone whose last name isn’t McElroy think that their worldbuilding is the show’s appeal?

Given that there was 1G of artificial gravity on the outside of the ship, and given the need for maintenance and repair on the ships’ exterior, I just assumed these ships had an envelope of atmosphere.

Yeah, if this show wasn’t squarely aimed at older kids, like my son, the Robinsons would leave her to die ASAP.

A solid base hit of a show, but not much more. I love the adult leads and my kid digs it, so I’ll watch it again. But I always wish the writing was the equal of the adult actors.

And at least it wasn’t Cats, which only grossed $6.5 million over the same period. Box Office Mojo says it now ranks “in the top twenty among worst openings all-time for a film playing in over 3,000 location.” Yikes.

This looks like a gorgeous riff on the already-gorgeous Monument Valley. Which isn’t a bad thing!
