nope, bluetooth headphones need batteries, take time to configure, and get lost more easily, and are far more expensive to replace. not a clear usability improvement at all, unless you are looking at corp. profit margin.

simply get a battery replacement. battery lifetimes have a certain number of cycles and then they start to lose ability to hold a charge.  you only need to upgrade to newer phone if the latest versions of your fav apps become unbearably slow when run without any other apps running.
