Matt Frewer is one of the most underutilized talents ever. “Doctor, Doctor” was hilarious, on a par with Robin Williams work, and Max...well, he turned me on to Anne Dudley, so what’s wrong with that. As someone else commented, we’re already living in Max’s mind...why not go for the visuals.

I was thinking of the Signal Intrusion events in chicago mixed with the original movie’s focus on corruption, etc . . . but updated.

Whoa....nothing that massive (are those real?). These were like 15-20’ wide concrete tunnels, if I am recalling correctly. Like big enough to drive a car through.

You might be interested in knowing that Las Vegas is in a basin that drains into Lake Mead. Their flood control drainage system exploits this to speed rain water into the lake. 

Las Vegas’ next casino will be MGM’s “The Ark”. 

Saw a documentary (or at least a piece of one) recently where they were showing these rather massive underground storm drains for flood use in the Vegas area. Apparently, they seldom get used given the regional climate, so they’ve become homeless encampments. Kind of like underground cities. Hope those folks made it…
