Yup. And hey, I’ve yet to technically change the oil in this car yet... I drained it once before taking the motor out.... I’ve never put oil INTO it.

With a “good” engine the hp should jump 40-60+ hp, and 25-35% better mileage than the carb.

That’s the game plan. Already sold off my other car (maybe jumped the gun a bit...). It’ll be my daily, the ski hill battle wagon, and will pull our little teardrop trailer in the summer.

Converting an 88' AMC Eagle wagon 4.2l 258 straight 6 to run a multipoint fuel injection system instead of the crappy carb I think came with. Engine has a fresh rebuild including a bigger cam, oil pump, timing set and has been bored and decked down a bit. Using an Edelbrock performance head and a set of afe headers…
