I love that video. I’ve closed a few gas-flaps on vehicles here and there, but I usually do it as I’m coming to a stop at some lights.

I hardly ever use my power armour. I mostly use it after getting slaughtered in an area as a fast cleanup tool. I think you can make starch at the cooking station with corn, and some flowers and stuff and then it counts as adhesive. I somehow also stumble upon lots of PA suits just laying around the wasteland. Two in…
I should also note that I’m a pretty hardcore packrat. I’m like 10 hours in and have more goods than a Walmart.
Currently I don’t even trade guns. I just get near a workstation, drop my “load” on the ground and scrap EVERYTHING I have no use for. Also, I seem to get a pretty good balance of pharmaceuticals with my stimpacks.
Maybe it’s some new trike, or something like the Kawasaki J concept thing. High-speed “bike” and slow speed quad.
The IDX would have been my next car, no questions asked if they made it. Manual, auto, lots or low HP I wouldn’t have cared. I would have bought it.
Even when I bought my first bike years ago (a Hyosung 250 gt-r) for less than $4500CAD I refused to even look at the still carbed Ninjas. I’ve ridden bikes before and since with carbs (Suzuki’s, Yamaha’s, Honda’s, BMW’s) and throttle response is often sluggish; and engineers still seem to have failed to work out those…
Trying to think of some good randoms...
Get money to drive fast cars and act like a bunch of bitches. Yup, still no love for F1 coming from me.
Neat. I’m assuming you used this thing. How was the coffee? I’m also a little sad I can’t use something like that on my stove (induction).
None of the injuries were terrible, broke a few ribs trail riding, (maybe chipped a pelvis) no real biggie there. But thought I’d take a week or two off. Then the next week I got real sick and kinda woozy, so extended the wait. Then the next week I ripped open a finger on my clutch hand with a recap-saw at home and…
I can get a new tank for my bike around $330. But I can’t tell in the video or any pics if that’s the tank itself exposed on the side, or if it’s a plastic shroud. That part on my bike is a shroud and covers the rads. If it was the tank itself I’d want to cover it up with something, even plastic. Plastic shrouds /…
Don’t forget the flashback arrestors... nobody likes exploding their garage.
Plastic gas tanks = cheap and easy to replace. Not sure how they hold up to pavement. Mine’s held up to a few trees and rocks on the trails.
*droooooooool* I’ve wanted the Svart Pilen (Black Arrow) since the second I saw a shot of it. I mean the White Arrow is pretty, but this thing is just.................. it’s just.......... I don’t have the word, like a mix of perfect, and feeling, and spot on, and they get my brain; but as a single word.
Husky’s are so nice looking. A LOT of the parts have KTM stamped on the “backsides”. It gets comical when working on the bike. “Husky or KTM?... ah KTM h’okay then...”
Anybody remember Ground Control? I have nostalgia for that game. Really liked the total lack of resource management. But man, it had the knack to sometimes glitch out / crash at awkward moments.
Lens Sidenote: On the AGV the gasket will eventually scratch the lens up near the top. It’s nowhere near my line of vision though so I only see it when the helmet’s not on my head. And they are TURBO expensive to replace. I think around $80.
I often have trouble finding helmets small enough to fit my narrow head/face properly. So far I’ve found that Icon’s Airmada (xs) and AGV’s AX-8 DS (s - sweet zebra style) both fit quite well. The Icon fit is tighter, maybe too tight. I’m finding the AGV super comfy, not too loud and I love that the lens comes right,…
