The game was a love letter to Central Oregon from the developers that lived there; the setting and characters are spot-on for the type of people there, unfortunately so is the dev’s comment. I’ve been to most of the places in the game, hiked in the forests, gone to see the waterfalls...it’s done much better than most…

There is NOTHING special about the food at that place, but the view is pretty sweet. What you don’t see in that view are all the meth tubs hidden back in those hills; there are people that live up there that will put the very best of the deep south up to task. 

Between the wind, rain, winter snow, and Hood River being built on the side of a steep hill; you learn to drive pretty good in adverse conditions.
