You know how I said my Ranger’s tyres weren’t even roadworthy? Here’s what I mean...
Yesterday a bunch of us celebrated a good friend and fellow Gambler’s birthday by going offroad. All things considered, the Ranger was absolutely awesome!
I get the MTs after July 4 (that’s when the guy will be home and free), but tomorrow I’m going to use the used and abused ATs it already has for some offroading for a friend’s birthday.
Between the Gambler 500, Pride, motorcycles, fangirling over Harley-Davidson, and planning for the next Gambler 500, I’ve not really updated the shitshow that is my life!
Are you over 60? Has your home business finally started paying out some cash? Do you feel like you’re getting old and thus need a bit of a spark in your life? Maybe you want to attract some younger women? Well, buy some overpriced branded leather and leave the helmet at home because welcome to the club.
I gave my Ranger a fuller inspection before deciding to make it legal and start driving it. I’m happy with what I see.
I’ve owned my Suzuki GS 850G for nearly a year now and it’s one of those bikes I just want to hold onto for a while. It’s just an awesome all rounder, sounds great, and is in perfect mechanical shape. Once I do the front forks the darn thing will be one of the most mechanically perfect vehicles I own.
Wow...I cannot sing enough praise about Harley-Davidson right now. Any company can drape a rainbow over their logo, but HD went the extra mile today. Turnout was about 200+ bikes, most not even Harleys.
By the time you read this I’ll be participating in an hour long motorcycle Pride Parade through Milwaukee. The hundreds of bikes will be escorted by police through Milwaukee with the ride ending by going straight through Milwaukee PrideFest
I so wanna get a gun rack then put a Super Soaker in it.
I now own a 1999 4 Liter V6 4x4 Ford Ranger! Now before you say something about my hoarding, I did sell three bikes and this will largely serve duty as a Gambler 500 and offroading rig, hopefully for several years and rallies. Got it for all of $700.
Had a productive little weekend!
Deleted the Gambler 500 Ranger post. I guess I need adults to occasionally break me out of my bubble tell me when I’ve gone too far. It seems a lot of you at bare minimum think I have a problem and the number of people has been increasing with every post.
Of rock, sand, mud, water crossings, jumps, gravel, and wide open throttle... That’s how long Imperator Slowiosa III survived. I also experienced my first real motorcycle crash, too.
I’ve been putting off doing the smart’s brakes since I got that Yamaha U7E. The reason for it is because I remembered that my right wheel’s rotor still had its locating/locking bolt. With me needing to drive 5 hours down to get to the start of the Gambler 500, I can’t wait any longer.
I shouldn’t do anything important on Mondays.
My janky Honda Elite has gotten even more janky! I was up until 2am last night wiring up my electrical mods and doing some maintenance.
After Imperator Slowiosa III’s maiden voyage I snapped the key off in the ignition, rendering it dead. Finally, it’s back and better than ever!
It’s been a while since I last bought a bike. I generally feel this is a good thing. I have a collection of toys I really love from my Goldwing to the CBR F3 I will ride through June and I don’t want to sell any of them. With that said, that doesn’t mean I haven’t been looking for any cool finds...
