The Goldwing lost its left bag sometime during my ride on Sunday, so I went ahead and chopped off the right one! Gotta admit, I like the look better.
I brought home my first vehicle without an engine!
Here’s an update for everyone with a decent bit of good and bad news.
It’s been a couple years since I’ve gotten a family photo of all my toys. Last time I did this I only had three cars and they were all under one roof. Well, I kinda grew the hoard since then. Since I’m no longer moving I’m going to make this happen! Here are a few updates!
Well, the time has finally come! I want to get a trailer to haul around my bikes. Why now? Well, I looked up where the Gambler 500 is starting this year and it’s over a 5 hour drive. Well then..
Since the breakup I’ve been doing daily 100 mile rides. One destination yesterday was out to a park that I used as another safe haven as I was finding my true self years ago.
And since I no longer have a girlfriend, there’s not a person who can stop me from making a battle Yugo for a Gambler 500.
I guess it’s for the best. She needs someone who isn’t me..
Last night’s sale shenanigans didn’t hold me down for too long, because I’m super excited for my new work commuter!
The GSX is sold and sold for just a little less than I advertised. The transaction went smooth and I’m happy to see it gone.
While the CF Moto may have been saved from the chopping block (only to become my next Gambler 500 rig), I’m still selling two bikes. I’m even more serious now about doing this after the 451 smart decided to catastrophically fall apart last night. I’m now desperate to have fewer projects..
Not only did I get the CF Moto running again, but I cleared a new GPS top speed!
Now that I’m committed to removing the Commie bikes from my stable, I’m full on looking to replacing the two scooters with one Japanese scoot. I keep running into weird vehicles that like the spring bloom, are popping up almost out of nowhere.
Well, time for the Hail Mary pass..
As Winter turns into Spring and Spring turns into Summer, I know some Oppos will be buying new toys. If you want a vehicle that’s too far away for you to get yourself and costs too much to ship, I’m your gal!
After doing some more work on the Chinese steeds, shop-teacher’s suggestion about getting rid of them finally sunk in. I’ve learned a decent bit about wrenching from them, but I’d rather be riding than wrenching.
And the scooter is dead for a third time now...I’m running out of things to replace.
I figured I’d start it off with Oppo’s favourite bike from my hoard.
Well...there was still too much ice to safely depart for work. So I spent the extra time I made for myself making sure the ‘Wing was in shape for a ride after work today. Meanwhile, I managed to anger my first neighbour!
