I’m considering adding a convertible W450 to the stable. The price is crazy nice at a third of book value. Just needs a couple cosmetic fixes. I may need some help though...
I’m happy you all enjoyed the first installment of my U-Haul series. Due to time constraints, I have decided that the U-Haul series will only be a two-part series. The second installment will be published tomorrow during the final day of the Embiggen Challenge. However today? We reflect back on a few of my favourite…
As you all most certainly know by now, I am the resident fangirl of U-Haul on Oppositelock and potentially even all of Kinja. I’ve been writing various tidbits about them through my own adventures in towing and hauling. However, what you didn’t know about U-Haul might surprise you...
But I’m finally finished with my first piece in my U-Haul series. I can’t wait for everyone to read it! In other news, I made a necklace from an old Xeon processor!
My ASRock Deskmini build can *almost* Ultra FSX. I’m not even running the optimized Steam Edition and I haven’t installed SP1 yet either. If this thing had a SSD it would probably be only slightly worse than my Ryzen gaming build.
For the upcoming “big picture” event, I’ll be doing a series of informational and fun pieces about U-Haul. There’ll be some equipment reviews, all of my towing data, and some U-Haul history that I’m certain you’ve never heard before.
Has all of ONE smart, and it’s hidden behind the MB display. Really?
Okay...so this one isn’t as crazy as the Peacock one, but really; flush the animal down a toilet? Aside from unnecessary animal abuse, wouldn’t this completely screw up the plumbing? The animal is super tiny, just let her fly with the hamster.
So long as I’m not crashing into anything much heavier than a S-Class, looks like I’ll be okay! *Whew*
I’ve finally finished them.
“This state calls itself protecting transsexuals like myself. However, the experience of myself and others are that the state falls greatly short on its promise. As Governor, how would you make Illinois a safe place for me to call home?”
If you’re dealing with ASRock, make sure you get one of the models of RAM that the board supports. They are hilariously unforgiving if you get a brand not on the list, but otherwise meets all specs.
Update: Well...could be worse!
I’m biting off more than I can chew with this Mini-Itx build.
So, I recently decided to build a second PC. Why? If you’ve ever built a PC before you probably know the euphoria of LEGO-ing the thing together and seeing it come to life. Once you do it once, all you can think about is when you can do it again.
These two guys were racing back to their boat dealership after the Chicago Boat and RV Show on Sunday. Speed limit in this section was roughly 45 and they both were going about 60-70. The roads were unplowed with a few inches of packed snow so I was surprised at the size of their lower regions.
Update: I never got a return call and I now have confirmation that the slots are all filled. Eh, not sure I wanna do 6 hours through crap weather just to chill. So unless any specific Oppos want to meet me I’ll probably just hang out in Milwaukee tomorrow.
My biggest goal of 2018 is finishing my transition. I have to finish my legal changes (approx. $400-$600), then the grand prize of bottom surgery (apparently covered under my insurance!!!!!). I started out the year with a baby step, but a good step...
Here are my stats so far: 16 Shots, 5 Drinks, 2 Red Bulls. I’m not drunk. My tolerance is so low that 2 shots make me messed up, let alone 16. I don’t know why I’m not. I blew under legal limit on a breathalyzer in the club too...though seeing as it was wet with the spit of like 100 people, eh.
