Range and power are not a trade-off with EVs. They are both a function of the battery size, and battery size is the primary driver of EV price.

That’s a good point. The idea of power being dictated by the max discharge rate of the battery instead of the mechanical components is a paradigm shift in automotive propulsion. We have to relearn a lot of “obvious” things about how a vehicle gets power to the ground.

All of the Lambo badges the owner slapped on kind of run counter to my assertion, but without those, it’s a somewhat-generic, kind-of-unique kit car.

I might have gone with Grand National over Riviera, but Avista is fine.  They could call it Fart Goblin, and I’d still want one.
