I guess situation where both parties are functionally trashed, apparently consenting (but legally too drunk to consent), and no physical force is involved. Essentially a very sloppy drunk hook-up. I am also under that impression, but I’m not sure if that’s legally correct, or why it’s the case.

Honest question for the deadspin commentary legal team - if two people are drunk at a bar/party, is it always the male’s responsibility to ensure consent? If both people are too impaired to legally consent - is it rape/assault?

I don’t think she lied. It seems to me that there was no evidence to prove she that there wasn’t consent.

How is this even close to helpful. The gymnasts rely on the sponsorships. So now the victims don’t have an income source? Drop sponsorship of MSU not USA Gymnastics. How did they not think this through?

Russell Wilson is still a dick

I get it, there is snortable tobacco (snuff) and candy companies have been making tobacco imitations forever - chalk cigarettes, big league chew, whatever jerkey chew stuff that was etc.

Pretty evident how he won too:

Holy shit, I just looked this up and it’s the Czech’s by like 40 liters per capita

It’d be fun if they had a mixed doubles, but separating it allows for more athletes and more curling on TV. I approve

I think several shots ahead in cornhole and bocci ball, I probably would in curling too.

Table tennis is extremely hard. The rest I agree with.

I did hear an interview on LeBatard (I think) by an olympic bobsledder who said basically any top-level college athlete could be world-class level competitive (Competitive at the trials) in 2 years of training for bobsled.

Well since you can’t spell Marbury should you be able to vote? Also, I grew up in PA, we got a lot of Gettysburg history, less so 21st Century. What if the test skews toward Gettysburg, but Oklahoma kids (whose state government is literally removing portions of text books that aren’t favorable to “American” values)

If you are a teacher, then I’m sure you can recognize the historical evidence that competency tests for voting is a very bad idea. Voter suppression via numerous methods, gerrymandering, lack of electoral college adjustments (add more votes, hasn’t changed since 1913 and got set in stone due to an antiquated 1929 law)

Yeah that’s a terrible idea. The disenfranchisement of the majority vote is what got us to where we are today.

It’s been awhile for the Spurs

How about in 2016 and especially 2017, you know, the years that are relevant to this tie?

Why? This wasn’t a Yankees coup or anything. The Marlins are just a joke

Actually local sports programming projects to be just fine. National programming is going to suffer in most estimations. The YES network also already has internet plans, it’ll be okay for them for a while.
