I did not know about the production problems. Shelley Long is a fine comedic actress and, based on her solid work in Outrageous Fortune (similarly a light action comedy), she probably could’ve pulled the role off.

It’s certainly gratifying (horrifying) to see that the Republicans have worthy successors in line for their elder statesmen like Senator Inhofe:

Boebert is currently being investigated by the FEC because during just one quarter of her election campaign she claimed to have traveled enough miles to have circumnavigated the globe 1.25 times. Which is more miles than her predecessor claimed during his tenure in office.

They are the three most populated states, what do you expect?  No state has been taking covid seriously.

My opinion is the moon landings. That was peak. There was a lot going on with society, and the world, at that times. Most of it progressive. (yes, yes, there were lot of bad things too, but events were mostly moving forward for most people)

Texas is second only to California in the pandemic death race. Florida, if you can believe, is third.
