If you’re trying to attract people to NASCAR viewership, I’d highly recommend you don’t advise people to go to races in person. I’ve never been to a less enjoyable spectator event. The quality of seating at all of the tracks I’ve been to sucks, I happened to always go in the summer and spring and the seating areas…

How is Indycar not accessible? They race in all parts of the country, put the races on tv, often on over-the-air broadcasts, and are very fan friendly. The average fan can get paddock passes. The drivers all come out for fan meet-and-greet sessions, where they answer fan’s questions, and sign autographs. I’ve camped…

I have no problem with that, especially considering Senna's history with Sega... he didn't just put his name on their F1 game for a cheque, he actually worked closely with the programmers and developers to increase the accuracy and realism.

IMHO it is a huge missed opportunity.

That trophy is AMAZING. Sure it’s corporate branding just like the Heineken one, but at least it has some character to it (no pun intended, I swear). I wonder where that one is now and how much it’s worth?

Most people I know that have installed 5 point harnesses end up never using them due to the hassle over a regular 3point seatbelt.

Not to mention the fact that he’s an ex-Mercedes dealer tech. So while he’s not specifically a BMW expert, he’s a hell of a lot more knowledgeable, and better equipped with tools/lifts/etc. than pretty much any average Joe Shadetree.
