No, that is changing phasing. In the beta there are restricted areas that you get teleported back to a safehouse if you go in. This will not be an issue in the main game as there won’t be an “out of bounds” Thus I don’t think they need to worry too much about it in a 3 day beta.

As for right now I could see these as being amazing in construction. We already design in 3D. Being able to wear a set of these through a jobsite building to see where each trade is suppose to be against the concrete would make things install so much faster with less cost in re-works.
