As an on and off casual fan of Doctor Who, this anniversary is doing exactly what it needed to do: making me watch Dr. Who. Not just the new specials, but since the anniversary, a Dr. Who is now available like never before where I am (Canada)
Yea, buddy, that’s all subjectively your opinion. The second special was a great Doctor episode and it’s been a pretty universal critical success at that if you’ve paid any attention this week.
If it gives Tony and company more time to make Season 2 as good or better than the first, I’m find with a delay. It’s the only Star Wars content that I’m anticipating since Mando went down the tubes and Ahsoka was Ahso damn boring.

The issue is that post-Endgame they didn’t take an opportunity to go small again and build back up.

Perhaps the problem was that viewers were expecting an Anniversary special and what they got was a very good episode with nothing particularly “special” about it?
The danger is when fans take their speculation and make it expectation.
The Monarch show has been far, far better than I would have estimated; tense, nicely structured, good characters, and a smartly used budget: it has come together nicely.
Spider-Man Noir will probably be hot-garbage BUT if they keep it the hell removed from the live-action Spid-sony-verse... who knows?
Rupert would own it all.
Except that this one didn’t have bad writing. It was a good, fun, funny movie.
