The closest thing you’ll find to Cowboy Bebop isn’t an anime at all, it’s Firefly. Every CB fan out there should watch Firefly.

And this is where CD Projekt begins to dia as a brilliant RPG developer and becomes just another Bethesda/Bioware. A shame, really.

As a Brazilian who grew up playing NES and SNES (actually I played more Master System and Mega Driv... ahem, “Genesis” - but had all of them) I’m quite surprised to find out about the “en-ee-es” pronunciation. I never even considered there where people in the world that called it that way. Learned something new today.

Install base is a noteworthy aspect, but there’s another very importante one: developing for 3DS is much cheaper than developing for high-resolution consoles. That’s one of the reasons why 3DS thrived while the Vita was quicly abandoned.

Looks like, in the end, this version turned out ok.

If only it wasn’t in first person...

The problem doesn’t lie on the game never preparing you for the challenges in the White Palace or the Path of Pain. It also doesn’t lie on the gameplay changes demanded in the middle of the game. And it certainly doesn’t lie on the difficulty spike.

The problem is *hiding the true ending of the game behind all that*:

Excellent? I believe it to quite awful actually. Excessively long, incredibly unbalanced and boring as hell. I often question myself how such a faulty game was released at all. If anyone is willing for a good old fashioned area control boardgame there are many better alternatives. I’d sayEl Grande”, for its

Yep. From that screenshot alone, it’s more “Dune 3” than anything

“The game itself looks a lot like Dune 2”

That means there was never a better time to get into Android: Netrunner than now. Everything was already released and reviewed and analyzed by the community, so you can pick and choose all the best and essencial boxes and have a stable game for years to come. (I really don’t have to say I don’t like the concept and

“but hey, there’s still a little less than half of 2018 to go”

It’s a shame sometime after the Baldur’s Gate era the industry decided that every RPG should be an action-RPG. I believe Mass Effect’s huge success had something to do with it (and the popularity of the dreadful dialogue wheel), but so did Zelda. Here we have a great exemple of a game that would be great, were not for

I came here to say the exact same thing, but here is your comment. I find no problem with “first-person combat” at all, but I just can’t enjoy navigating a fictional world in first-person (exception: FPSs are fine)

No love for the Saturn? It had amazing RPGs like Shinning Force III (and three of them, like Nintendo did with Fire Emblem Fates), Panzer Dragoon Saga, Grandia, Dragon Force (ok, maybe Dragon Force wasn’t strictly an RPG?), remakes for the incredibly good Lunar: The Silver Star and Eternal Blue (which should be

Yep. It is beautiful... and boring.

It looks quite awesome to me.

Finally!

GURPS: best RPG system ever. If I could GM GURPS with only 12 year old, I’m sure everyone can play it. Simple and elegant.

Agreed. But have something to add: a hardcore gamer, a *true hardcore* gamer wouldn’t care less. He is a hardcore GAMER: he will play everthing, because games are his passion. A hardcore gamer will play hellish hard games like Dark Souls or Super Meat Boy, but will also play easy games like Telltale’s Walking Dead. A
