RE: walking up to people in office to ask a question.

My company sold our building, rented a much smaller space and started up “office occasional”. You go in the office when you want and only IF you want to. No one can force you, not even your manager.

Depends on the state. In Florida it is not a valid cause for firing and you get unemployment. I know because it’s happened to me.

Were I’m from (Florida unfortunately), drastic changes in working conditions and being fired for refusing them is in fact a very valid reason to get unemployment. Asked me how I know ;)

I mean, if it was a remake of the movie and not just fixing horrible mistake and the decision was to bring back Prowse (if you could, RIP) or put put in James Early Jones, sure, put in James, I guess.

But I’ll never let you convince me that Prowse didn’t deserve to have that moment in RofJ. I bet if you asked James

Sorry, but if you’re going to fix the Darth Vader reveal, make it the actual actor David Prowse who did an amazing job portraying that character.

Too bad the state gave Brett Favre millions of dollars of “welfare” money to build a volleyball stadium at the college his daughter plays at.

Yeah, but if you fine Amazon, they’ll be sure to keep their house in order. Amazon chooses to offer a “marketplace”, they most definitely should be responsible for what they allow people to sell on there.

This has been my life in rural Fl. I have chosen to just not talk politics at all. I’ve a few times relaxed thinking I was with like minded people only to find out they are huge Trumpers. One even told his wife that she’s been brainwashed by my wife because when he asked her to watch the RNC she said “I would rather

Hey there are some of us in the rural areas trying to fight the good fight with you.... We're out numbered but we're trying!

The problem with their code is they used an open source product to create it and by the license of that product, the site itself has to be open source, but they are not sharing their code (not that I want to see it).

I really wish they added more bite to the PRA if they don’t comply. I don’t care what President it is (D or R), those documents belong to the people, not the person who might have occupied the office.

I have little faith he will see consequences. It sucks but it's true.

And they called before hand.... Let's not forget that.

“... despite not having a very complicated and expensive engine and transmission.”

I get it’s less complicated, which is good from a maintenance perspective, but less complicated does not necessarily mean cheaper (nor does it necessarily mean more expensive). What is the cost of the batteries going into them? Is that

I’m all for PHEVs. I think they are the best of both worlds right now. You can do a fair amount of driving in a normal day, but have gas for longer trips. And I don’t really consider stopping to charge for 20+ minutes acceptable on long trips and anyone who has kids likely agrees.

Edit: I should also note, I’m a

Maybe lets not call it “Fully Self Driving” then? Say what you want Mr. Musk that it still requires user interaction.

I get that “auto pilot” in the pilot jargon doesn’t mean no user interaction (though laymen may not see it that way), but how can one not confuse “Fully Self Driving” with a system that can fully self

I agree that his direction of testing is bad. I had the same thought when I watched it, though there does seem to be some bushes/hedge right on the other side. Still could go over, but not sure what is on the other side.

I think an empty field would be a better choice of testing location.

That said, I think it’s awesome

I use Rokus and they now expose a global “play/pause/stop” http endpoint I call. I added it to a plugin I wrote to control/monitor Roku devices :)

Yeah, I live in FL too and I agree about the fan at night. But I don’t always want the fan on in every room everytime in I’m it. I guess I’m weird like that.
