Oh, I think GotG jumped down that hole.

Yeah. “Ugh” for two reasons:
Well, you’re clearly not “working hard” at it, but yeah: I gave you the benefit of the doubt that you bothered to comment in order to engage in discussion and support a position. I assumed you actually care about the underlying issue, in which case you’d want to be effective in fighting misogyny.
They are weirdly beautiful and awkwardly charming.
For the fandom to accept a new actor in the role every few years and nearly lose its collective mind once that new actor is a woman.....for me and a lot of other women it hurts to see that reaction.
When you have a woman playing no empathy, you have a sociopath. That’s how the audience is going to read it.
Except that femaleness is inherent to the character and the show’s values. Not so much with Doctor Who. Nice try, asshole.
But hey, maybe it means we’re gonna get a male companion who’s not connected to the primary female companion this time?

Just take deep breaths and remember how the very nature of the adventure makes it literally impossible to film without significant interpretation.
Never even heard of this. But Pervis Anathema should meet Neil Stevenson’s Hiro Protagonist. I bet they wouldn’t get along.
I really wish I could respond with “oh well,” but I’m just way too much of a nerd about this stuff. And this instance of this stuff, in particular.
I’m still not sure anybody’s made a better superhero movie that Unbreakable.
I’ve got one word for you:
These costumes just get better and better the more I see of them and the longer I look.
Panther Gauntlets is a good name, but Kitty Blasters is waaaaay better.
We’ve seen it in motion in the trailer. I was instantly appalled.
