The sad thing is that I’d actually sign up for Overwatch if there was single-player, offline content. League of Legends has been trying pretty hard to bring that universe to other kinds of players/viewers, and I appreciate that. Arcane and Ruined King have let me play around in that franchise. It’s strange, by

I’m looking forward to watching this while tipsy.

The Babadook: a movie that’s really good until it’s not anymore.

I thought of this too. You get those girls up to a high enough level, though, and you can go into any given mission and slaughter everything in about 30 seconds.

I’m not a huge fan of what they’ve done to Godzilla’s design (he got real skinny) but I’m here for the Showa-era nonsense.

I was under the impression that Discovery took place in the past, during the (or replacing) original series. It’s actually set in the future?

It Follows is so fucking good.

It was good for awhile, and then it just kept going. At a certain point, I was like “we did it,” but the movie kept beating me over the head with the central metaphor.

For fuckin’ real! How is is Super Mario Land not on NSO yet? I’m also amazed that DK ‘94 isn’t there yet either. Guess I’ll dust off my 3DS to play them...

It was a tour de force, my favorite movie last year and I can’t wait to rewatch it.

The Witch really did deserve an Oscar. Horror doesn’t play well at the Oscars for some reason.

I think I’m excited for 3-Body Problem? I couldn’t finish the book, it was just so...dull. For the things that book was conveying, it was so clinical, so emotionless. There was no excitement. And at a certain point I was just like “We get it, the game is (spoilers). Jesus, move on already.”

I’ll likely play the demo, but my love of Vanillaware comes by way of their action games—Odin Sphere, Muramasa, and Dragon’s Crown. I’m a little saddened that 13 Sentinels and now Unicorn Overlord are heading in a different direction.

Well, as if I didn’t disrespect the man enough, Snyder is now palling around with Joe Rogan and deliberately (I would hope) misrepresenting what makes Batman an interesting character.

This feels like a movie I’m going to hate-watch and laugh at, kind of like Morbius and, honestly, Venom.

Sam Rockwell: “Is there oxygen? You don’t know!”

I remember seeing that original pitch video of the Switch and thinking “oh my god this is what I’ve always wanted” and guess what? It was everything I ever wanted.

I mean, YES, of COURSE that’s all true. And look, I’m 41 years old, I get it.

Accurate.

I’m constantly fascinated by how profound those first few years of the pandemic changed this country. Aside from all the deaths, I mean, although that was a massive toll as well. But societally, things just changed. Distance learning had a big effect on students (and teachers) which continues to plague education,
