I’ve never seen that fossil in papers about preserved integument in fossil animals. I wonder if it was always suspect?

Fantastic video. Budgetary constraint breeds innovation. I think having a small team helped as well, everybody was on the same page. Marvel and DC movies has half a dozen VFX companies doing different things, getting wildly different results.
I just bought the fucking thing, are you kidding me?
More like Sexsquatch, amirite?
I swear to god if the big reveal is a pile of barrels leaking pollutants into the ground water, I will swear off this series entirely. I will refer to it as a one-season show, just like there were only two Alien movies and then they stopped making Alien movies.
Yes, it’s not a JJ show, it’s a Lindelof show, and it was the most frustrating television series I’ve ever seen through to the end.
The Tuttle connection really does seem completely superfluous.
I’ve noticed this too. Ennis seems to be shorthand for the North Slope but without the established infrastructure of the actual North Slope. I’ve been amazed that Ennis has half the things it does. A very modern mining home office, an addiction treatment center (?!?), a shockingly modern-looking police HQ. It’s like…
You’re both wrong, it’s obviously a film adaptation of Untitled Goose Game, since geese are dinosaurs.
Admittedly, this does look better than the first movie. I’ll see it.
“D. sgiathanach had a roughly 8-foot-wide wingspan, making it the largest creature of its kind found from the Jurassic.”
MAN that would’ve been a great series. As it exists, the Obi-Wan show is basically superfluous nonsense that doesn’t move the needle at all, with either character.
Morbius is semi-watchable in the right state of mind, mainly because I tried to focus all my attention on Adria Arjona, who is both gorgeous and trying REALLY hard with the material they give her. But the other surprise highlight is Jared Harris who I was thrilled to see and then he just kind of disappears.
Oh right, I think that’s it.
Fair enough. I fully expect some future sequel in this series to circle back to the “original” film.
I recently rewatched Twister on Prime (?) and was surprised to see how well it held up.
All three movies area incredible. Yes, humans lose more and more ground, but Caesar and his ape brethren rise up in this new world. It’s evolution, in a way. When the dominant species faces a bottleneck (by disease, in this instance), another will rise up to take its place.
I’m increasingly concerned about what this movie will wind up being.
I have to believe that, like most public outrage these days, their schtick is 250% crocodile-tears performative.
I didn’t know that about the Icheb actor. Goddamn.
