I agree that it would be a burden on businesses and yes, those zany Americans tend to escalate, but in this particular instance I think the venue/promoters should have envisioned that Miss Grimmie might have someone fixated on her and acted accordingly.

There’s no difference in voting for someone in spite of their positions and voting for someone because of their positions. The end result is the same. After the Parkland shooting, the leaders elected by the people of Florida made it clear that the only remedies they would consider were adding more metal detectors and

“Let’s vote for the guys who’ll make it easier for mentally unstable people to buy guns. That way schools and stadiums will have no choice but to hire armed guards and put in metal detectors”

The fact that this is a gun issue is irrelevant. You do hand out guns indiscriminately to every nutcase with a wad of bills, and the last few weeks have proven that the elected leaders in Florida have no intention of changing that. So the problem becomes how to increase security and provide enough armed guards.

I’d argue the opposite.

Rest easy, everyone! The U.S. House of Representatives is on the case! Evildoers beware!

It’s going to be more than a “well deserved side-eye from the rest of the world”. What the 2016 election established is that Americans cannot be trusted. You might come up with someone reasonable in 2020, but give it a couple of election cycles and we’ll be watching Martin Shkreli’s inauguration.

I make it a policy that I won’t engage in a discussion of how business is the lifeblood of the nation unless the person speaking can coherently explain what a point on the Dow Jones Average actually represents. For extra fun, ask why we get daily business updates on the news, but little to no labour news at all.

You can make a case for “most dangerous”.

First off, the only country to directly attack Canada is the United States of America.

First off, people don’t become actors to get laid. People become bartenders to get laid. There’s a lot of overlap, but it’s important to keep the two straight.

Generations of Americans have been raised to believe “Greatest Country in the World” = “can do no wrong”. If you deny that then you are the one lying to yourself.

Don’t confuse being obsessed with the ability to kill everyone on the planet with being altruistic.

Timberlake was involved in the events leading up to “Nipplegate”, but the actual fallout for Janet Jackson’s career should be laid at the feet of those people who couldn’t deal with the possibility that they may have briefly glimpsed a partial nipple from a distance.

Once this reaches the prosecutorial phase they will start attacking the Judiciary. The presiding judge will deemed biased because he was once polite to a person who may have been Mexican.

As always, it’s the “lol!” that makes it art.

Jesus was the only person to come back from the dead who didn’t scare the shit out of everybody.

Since Obama is black, he just qualifies for generic racism with perhaps a bonus for being uppity enough to become president. Clinton, on the other hand, is a white man who was styled “The First Black President” so he has the race traitor thing going as well.

Okay, I realize that I’m being a bit of a dick here, but whatever.

Let’s not forget Bouncing Boy.
