Years ago there was a lady that fell outside Bright Angel Lodge after she was baked and walking along the rock wall there. Fell ~100 feet. I used to read the NPS Morning Report and you would see this type of stuff come up. It was also in this book, which is a really good read.

There’s a Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon in Arizona. Confusingly named, but they are two different places. Plenty of people fall into both canyons though.
