I live under a rock, and only recently heard that "all about that bass" song. I legit gave the car radio some side eye when I heard the lyric "I'm bringing booty back."

um. That is a thing that exists. Or did exist. You might be able to find it at an "adult" store or online. A former roommate might have purchased one for me as a joke. (This was maybe 12 years ago?) I think the packaging had a blurb that read "I make bath time fun!"

What the police didn't put on record? Not only is it fashionable, it's about ethics in game journalism.

I hate this concept SO MUCH!! Like: if I'm a single lady, and my friends are busy, should I do nothing? Ever?! What if I'm a single lady in a new town, or just kinda introverted? (I'm actually quite social, but single, and love doing shit by myself.)

I was going to write something lighthearted, especially after reading the super-depressing article about abortion restrictions and women's rights, but then I was struck by the thought that this woman, and her ilk, are exactly the type of person who voted in the midterm election.

CONFESSION: I own none of Tay's music. I'm sure I know some of it because I'm a person that interacts with the world. But I don't know that I know it.

I won't play armchair psychologist on your friend. I just kinda assume people that sleep with people that insult them have low self esteem. Or are really, really horny. (I also assume those guys are lousy in bed. Just sayin'. If you are rude to me in public, why would I assume you'll be attentive/satisfying in bed?)

I kinda wonder about the self-esteem of your friend. I like having sex, but not with jerks. (I'm not passing judgment on her; genuinely curious.)

Really? Tell me you're joking.

Does anyone remember that restaurant in Santa Monica that served whale? I used to go there a lot. (No whale on the menu in my day.) They did have an "insect" portion of their menu. (It was between the appetizer and noodle section, I believe.) I was vegetarian at the time, so I never tried anything off that section,

yeah, those guys said something like, "we're kidding! You should get a drink with us!"

Ugh. True story: in 2008 or 2009 I was living/working in Santa Monica, CA. I was walking somewhere (home, a bar, I don't recall.) These two dudes asked me where some bar was. I didn't know. (Turns out it was a shitty bar, a few blocks away. It wasn't one of the roughly 2,185 local bars I knew. There were a lot of

I was thinking the same thing! Who are these black women who could "take it", not like the rest of these sensitive PC types. Womenz have no sense of humor AMIRITE??

I always went with unipeg. There was a big debate amongst the young girls of my family over pegacorn vs unipeg when I was a kid!

a cult-like gym.... Is it... Crossfit???

I starred it, although no one has ever loved me enough to want to marry me.

I'm not dressing up for Halloween this year. When people ask me why I'm not dressed up, I'm going to reply "actually, I am. My costume is about ethics in games journalism."

THIS. I moved from California to Illinois (shut up, grad school,) and I was SHOCKED you can't make DMV appointments out here. If anyone wants to be Secretary of State for Illinois just make your platform about introducing DMV appointments. You will win.

I went to CSUN too. I was a music major, and one of my cohorts was, shockingly, in a frat. I went to ONE frat party. (Unlike frat houses at other schools, CSUN frat houses were all super rundown and gross.)
