I’d just get the preview edition while it’s cheap. If you have GCU it’s only $23.99 at Best Buy since it somehow qualifies being a digital game. When the full game gets a release date it’ll probably jump up to $59.99 as most preview games do.

What?

Because it’s weirdly self righteous(per above), overcharges and certain artists who know their fan base will fall prey to paying whatever release Tidal exclusives only. It’s arrogant and it offers nothing new to music streaming. If they were innovative and brought something more to the table it’d be sad to see it go,

My father-in-law is an emotional person who arguably cares for his family. Didn’t stop him from physically abusing his children. Some people are just dicks with friendly smiles.

So the dude who made a name for himself being an asshole to people in online games turns out to be an asshole in real life?

I was a political science major, and I have been doing a lot of thinking about what a Jones upset would mean. It’s pretty significant, and requires a fair amount of nuanced thinking. So I apologize in advance if this gets kind of dense and long, but here’s the analysis of someone who studies and thinks about this

Congratulations Alabama!

I was once like you (in liking Destiny 2). Then, a nagging question kept tugging at the back of my mind, one that was never satisfactorily answered...(is this even fun to play anymore?)

Bungie seems to be taking the “it’s better to ask for forgiveness than permission” route with this game. Seems like every week we catch them in another scandal.

I wouldn’t assume this is the result of any power struggles. They think what they’re doing is right. They don’t want guardians to be powerful with low time to kills in crucible but they don’t want to separate pve from crucible because they want a standardized experience across all the game modes. They don’t want to

It baffles me that vanilla D1 had Heroic Strikes on day one. Then after years of community feedback, Bungie improved Strikes over time with exclusive loot, scoring and buffs. Three years later the sequel arrives with no Heroic Strikes; only to have them come back behind a DLC paywall- without any of the previous

At this point, they’re not mistakes. These things aren’t accidental. They need to be not only more accountable, but have more common sense.

I was fooled on the first one. Halo was just too good and was my favorite shooter of all time so they got me in the door and I quickly realized I’d been had. They won’t see another full price game bought by me ever again. Waiting until they fix everything and it goes to $20.

That’s probably the most disappointing aspect of all about this launch. We’ve been here before. After a couple of years of content and patching, Destiny 1 was a pretty good game. I expected they’d have carried that momentum forward to the second game.

What league is that team in?

Made mistakes? Isn’t this the exact same way they handled 1? The constant 180s and bullshit from Bungie continues to amaze me. Still disappointed with myself I gave them and Activision money for this.

Trooper gate has been discredited.

Apparently consensual blowjobs are a no-no but unwanted pussy-grabbing is just fine.

Remember back when Republican politicians “cared” about the President’s sexual predations? I wonder what happened to all that indignation.

But there are records. Loads of records. Diaries, especially. That's why there's records of basic chanting while working, because people wrote down what they'd been doing.
