Madeline and Louise were amazing. The show didn't glorify their antics, they satirized it as ridiculous which made them sooooo much fun to watch. Unlike the Yale assholes

The disjointedness of the revival was felt by me too. Everyone seemed far meaner and for no real reason. The jokes did not land. Sorry but Kirk's nonsensical Ooober was not funny. Kirk had a very unique funny quality to him in the original series that didn't translate well in the revival. Also everything to do with

The money problems only existed for plot contrivance. Nothing else.

Right?! Like who even wants to see so much of Logan and his band of idiots anyway? I was so bummed to see so little Lane.

The Emily/Lorelai scene was lovely and again it had to do with Emily's beautiful storyline (something that ASP was forced to rewrite because of a real-life tragedy). Everything else felt very stuck in past. The pop culture references didn't land as well. Some characters were meaner and more vile. Everything felt like

But Lorelai and Digger's interactions weren't meant to scream 'meant to be to together'. It was very obvious he was a distraction for the inevitable Luke/Lorelai reunion.

The college years are not good here. I thought the revival would capture the old magic of GG (S1-3) but it expanded on the awful Yale years and emphasized on the flaws. What a waste.

Kirk and Luke interactions were gold. Just hilarious.

That was done on purpose. Luke was never supposed to have another viable option. Just like Jess, Dean or Logan. The girls can have as many options as they want but the men were always relegated to mooning over the girls like they were the only women in existence.

I agree completely. It's so obvious to see where Emily is coming from. I don't agree with everything she did but she was only trying to do what's best for Lorelai and then ultimately Rory. It may or may not have worked on them but I think as an adult, a person has enough sense to stop acting like a petulant child and

The revival is terrible and like Margot said, it leaves a horrible taste in your mouth.

I agree with you about Emily! She's by far the best character, with the best development. The revival confirmed that. It also helps that Kelly Bishop was just fantastic in the role. If anyone deserved an Emmy nom more, it's her.
Lorelai's antics are very very petulant sometimes and they do come off as really grating

I'd recommend some other films where there is music but no dance numbers. Piku, Love Aaj Kal (it has one dance number but far more urban-y). These are two really good movies (Piku in particular is fantastic and it's on Netflix!) that you should give a try!

Hmmm this is interesting. Growing up with Bollywood myself I'm intrigued to know how this will work out. Madhuri Dixit was huge a few years back. If it's good I might give it a try.

And it wasn't that good either. If people wanted to see a touching, powerful movie about poverty in India, they should actually watch a bunch of movies made in India. Some of them are brilliant.

I mean there is no question. The cast on The Office was just brilliant. I loved how supporting characters got their own lovable quirks put in, making them recognizable and enjoyable. And also Creed. Just the best. I miss Creed.

While Ben and Leslie were consistently cute, Jim and Pam have this special place in the 'best couple' category for me.

I loved New Girl season 2 too. I just love New Girl in general! The latest season was amazing. Probably the best season after season 2.

The first few seasons of the Office were gold. I don't think any season of comedy has been as perfect as the second season of the Office. It was funny as hell, really sweet and heartfelt.

Nah. I love Ben, but Jim's camera stares are the best.
