I may have grown up with a Countach on my bedroom wall (okay, multiple Countaches) like every other 80's kid, I also had posters of two under-appreciated gems: the Silhouette and it’s 80s-ified successor, the Jalpa. So pretty.

Ah. On my tiny phone screen, they looked the same. On a full sized monitor, I can see that they are different.

My old man got those aluminum wonders on his ‘85 626LX 5-door. Still love those wheels (and the overall design of that model) to this day.

Seconded. I have a set of Corelle plates and bowls that I bought a decade ago and use daily; no breaks or chips after a thousand drops. It may not be nice enough to be your fancy dinner tableware, but for everyday use, nothing beats it.

In rural areas or other places underserved by transit, Americans will still need to rely on vehicles for decades...

Owned an NB softtop for several years. I definitely enjoyed the ease operation of the top. But...

The best photo of the ones you had to choose from was one where she can’t figure out if what’s about to come up is a burp or a bit of vomit? (Come on, we’ve all had that expression before. “I feel some pressure here, but I’m not sure if I should allow this to escape my esophagus.”)

But my problem with the music (and let me be clear, this is *my* problem), in both the prequels and the new film, is just how much John Williams music I’ve heard from so many different movies over the decades, that there are times when a new theme from one movie just sounds to me like it could belong in another movie

Justin, now that it is concluded, I must say that your list is a very good list. It is all of the films, pretty much, that I would have listed, if not in your order. (1. OHMSS 2. CR 3. TLD...TLD was 2nd until CR came along.)

...the CTS Coupe’s ass-end is held up high to the sky. No one needs to see that.

Best original score.

I was under the impression that most public restrooms in Japan didn’t provide tissue, as people are expected to carry their own. (Also why businesses hand out tissue packs as advertising, like matchbooks in the west.) Is this no longer the case?

Wes, I am a middle school music teacher, and I would love to post this, essentially word-for-word, in my classroom. Your authorship would be attributed, naturally. Any objections?

Intensely weird, still not as memorable as, “Hnng, peppermint roll!”

Excellent write ups so far, although I would personally disagree with your opinion of Barry’s best score. YOLT is indeed excellent, but I honestly feel that OHMSS is his best Bond score, and his second best film score overall.

Screw those two grouchy gusses who downed on your gramps. That’s the funniest damn thing I’ve read all day.

Fair enough. I admit that after two decades of online interaction, one tends to assume negativity rather than indifference. Shows just how jaded I’ve become. ^_^

...said SOMEone, about EVERY video game, that EVER existed, EVER.

Easily NP for me, as this the only brand new car my father bought when I was growing up. His was an ‘85 LX, but same gen, same body style (DAT 5-DOOR), in tornado silver. I loved that car, with it’s electrically adjustable suspension and oscillating air vents. The old man pretty much drove it into the ground, though.
