I’d love to be a fly on the wall listening to the Congressional GOP. You have to believe they’re conflicted. Trump will hopefully cost them everything.

The one time I went to New Orleans I had two. That was enough to get me shitfaced.
I overreacted to a rough ending to high school (a dramatic teenager?! WHY I NEVER!) and spent the first semester of my first year drinking and hitting things (walls, other dudes, though the latter tended to hit me back harder). ANYWAY, one night I stayed up drinking way too much cheap beer, got up at 7, got breakfast…
Counterpoint: during Christmas break of my first year at college I came home and met up with my friends that I hadn’t seen since August and in one night drank a case of beer. I did not throw up, I did not have a hangover, I did not black out.
Maybe. Bernie couldn’t connect with the black community, he didn’t have a negative campaign run against him, and you have to realize he would have scared off a lot of moderate Republicans in places like Virginia that voted for HRC over Trump.
Oh man, I *hated* that movie. I read a bunch about it but hadn’t read Vince Mancini’s review (he nails all the points I hated) and he also found the moment where I think the people around me thought I was racist.
No, it’s Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner with a horror twist.
Correct. And Bernie lost an election to Hillary despite Hillary not running a campaign against him. Bernie’s strong showing was a sign of Hillary’s weakness as a candidate, not Bernie’s strength.
Exactly. I’m not saying it would work, just how they’ll spin it.
Yup
Eh, not really. This was ‘03-’04. Like I said, the actual popular kids were pretty friendly to me. They loved talking comic book movies with me. I’d grown up with a bunch of them too.
Don’t forget paying for millionaires tax cuts!
I’m not saying it’s a GOOD idea. I just said how they’d spin it.
Wait, it wasn’t closer during the Cuban Missile Crisis?
I don’t know. I’m skeptical that he could have put together the campaign infrastructure necessary to win.
I wanted Bernie more than HRC but not enough to vote in the California primary. But you’re exactly right. Bernie’s supporters are taking Bernie’s strong showing against HRC as proof he would have won when in fact it’s proof of how weak HRC was as a candidate.
He lost even though Hillary ran the gentlest campaign possible against him.
Donald Trump: “Sorry rest of the world, you’re on your own. The United States is going it alone.”
I think any show set someplace like NY, especially, needs to have more POC of every type working behind the cameras, at the writing table, etc.
