It was pretty awesome, I kind of want to share the best bits, but I won't, I'll leave you to enjoy the glory! Bill Murray clearly lives on a different planet in the most amazing way.

Thanks so much for your kind and thoughtful words :)

Ooh, that also made me think of doing one of those birth charts...

Eh, she's not friendship material. Ignore her as much as possible until she is not your roommate anymore and then drop her. It's not your job to teach her about hypocrisy or blow jobs. Especially after her judgy slut-shaming bullshit.

There is a group of skater boys that live in my apartment building. They are probably between the ages of 10 and 15, and 5 or so of them skate together after school every day, frequenting the sidewalks and areas where I walk my dog. My dog is very skittish and gets really scared at the sound or sight of a skateboard.

Check your local noise ordinance. But I'd try your landlord before the cops - there's probably even something in everyone's leases about working in common areas.

I have a feeling Carnivale would have done a lot better if it had been aired nowadays. This looks good but I do wish it was a trailer for the second season of that show.

Love the Victorian-ness, hate the torture porn. It's too much for me! I tried to watch American Horror Story, but I thought the torture and gore (particularly of the slaves and women) was too much to handle. All my favorite channels have just gotten SO violent and they just show everything! I watched Rome the other

Wait, Lord Grantham is Turkish?! That explains so much about Lady Mary's interest in Mr. Pamuk.

Ha! I came to post the same thing.

Adventures in Babysitting. I just love it, plus, bonus Vincent D'onofrio with flowing blonde locks!

I've loved Tori since Under the Pink, but pretty much all the later albums just go in one my ear and out the other - I love it best when it's her and the keyboard (ok, and an orchestra). Anyone else?

"Did you ever watch the show?"

Oh man, I really like this movie! Thank you for reminding me of its existence. :)

I had been really into Justified lately. I just finished the second season and I can't wait until payday so I can rush out and get season 3. It's not over, but you have 4 seasons to get through before you catch up to the current season. I'm not a Westerns person so I'm kind of surprised by my addiction to it, but the

"Silent All These Years" is a personal favorite of mine. Although the entire Little Earthquakes album gives me chills.

I don't remember the "end" to be honest. The memory that sticks out was how horrible the doctors and researchers were. I'll poke around and ask. I'm sure someone must remember it.

Yeah, me too. A year after stopping the pill, I started growing hair on my breasts (I'm hairy but I never had hair there), my hair started thinning, I still get really bad chest pains, and my skin is super oily (from being more on the dry side). And the mental effects? Holy shit. The pill regulated my mood, but coming

That's my feeling about Rikki's other documentaries. A good solid scientific fact-based look at the "business of being born" would be fantastic. A hushed dramatic Lifetime version developed by someone with no background in science or medicine is not what anyone needs.

The thing that pisses me off most about this is that I'm sure this will be a salacious take on birth control and it's impact, but I would absolutely love to see a legitimate documentary and research about it. I think hormonal birth control is a phenomenal invention and one that is incredibly liberating, but I also
