Honestly, what’s happened to Marvel... the quality of their comics has just decreased so much. I understand capitalizing on the success of movies, but this, Civil War 2 etc. They’re all just so cheap.

thanks for sharing this. I hate his films too, but never understood all the personal attacks, I express concrete reasons why I dislike his DCEU films, I don’t take it into that personal hatred level that a lot of the losers on this website tend do.

that’s because they are Issue 1. Which means it’s a new series. First issues are always top sellers. On top of that, X-men Gold issue 1 first printing, is worth A LOT more now due to the controversy associated with it. (in case you don’t know, there was religious extremist references made in it)

Consider the optics of the whole situation. We’re in an era where superheroes should be fighting fascists, not becoming them. What type of message does this send in a Trump presidency? We’re all assholes that will give up any possibly values we had for power, even Captain America.

Given the fact that the head of Marvel is a Trump supporter who donated millions to Trump, I’d say the optics look really bad here. Dumb move Marvel, dumb move. This could’ve been a great story for another era. Right now though, it’s just in very bad taste.

if Stan Lee were currently in charge of Marvel and making executive decisions, well there wouldn’t be a Marvel anymore. I respect what he’s done, but trusting his opinion on the matter is downright foolish. At a certain point you need to realize he really loves his money.
