My father considers himself “right of center.” He’s voted for Republicans (Bush’s first term, Romney) and Dems (Obama’s first term, H. Clinton). After Trump he will never vote Republican again.

I hate in-flight WiFi. Hate hate hate it. Wish it never existed.
I’m always amazed by the type of person who just can’t wait to get the the comment section of these types of articles so they can detail just how stupid the victim is, hand-wave the predatory nature of the lender/bank/dealership and gush about how they would never have fallen for a scheme like that. I can never tell…
Although addressed under “watch your volume”, no external music REALLY needs it’s own separate bullet point. I’m a lifelong hiker and this bullshit has picked up in a big way over the last few years.
“But they lowball the piss out of trade-ins and pull the same car salesmany shenanigans to try to explain to you why your car isn’t worth much.”
I’ve walked into my last 3 car purchases with a CarMax quote for my trade in hand, and every time the CarMax offer has been higher.
Still pissed about Elysian. I wonder how the blowback affected them because people here in Seattle are hyper aware of the sale.
I’d argue AB is more of a multibillion-dollar corporation than it is “a brewery,” in this case.
There are no (zero) legal consequences to having your CFP license suspended. The only thing that will happen is the CFP designation on your advisor’s business card will disappear. That’s it. And, if you are a client, don’t expect to be receiving a letter from your financial planner about their CFP status.
Yep. I lost my Dad too and I have zero interest in watching this ep and in fact won’t be. I’ll read about it and see if there’s any scenes to skip to on Hulu but otherwise...nah.
I agree with all of this. I am actively not looking forward to this episode, with the way they have been dragging their feet with this “revelation”. Like you say, why is “how Jack died” more important than how he lived? This entire story could have been wrapped up earlier, without feeling like some kind of death…
Completely agree with you. I enjoy the show due to the quieter, more subtle moments like you mentioned. The overemphasizing on Jack’s death definitely hurts the show. But I’m glad they’re finally revealing it. Just so that it’s over and done with and we get to the good stuff again. I really want to see how the family…
Did you miss the bit about the pesticide making more republicans?

The ways to overcome your trashness if you’re a man who’s trash (and you probably are, we all probably are, I ain’t special and you’re not either) arethe same ways we ask white people to admit white privilege is a thing;
Good god when did the country get so stupid?
And still Trump says we can’t help them forever. I’ll say it again: He doesn’t see them as Americans. He realizes that it’s his obligation to help Florida and Texas, because he knows they are Americans, but the thinks Puerto Rico is not really American. Because of this, he thinks anything he gives them is a gift, and…
Before they finally kill it, they will require 478 updates, each of which will try to force a McAfee install.
Impressive video, but if I may:
Ex Officio have been just about the only underwear I’ll wear for the last several years. They’re soft, moisture-wicking, they don’t ride up, and they keep their elastic for a good long time.
