Yep. I took a co-workers original Xbox home to swap out the DVD drive after it had failed. It seemed fine on the outside, but once I got it open, it reeked of cigarettes. I tossed the drive on my pile of old PC hardware and I noticed it still smelled weeks later. Thankfully it wasn't all that dusty though.
