Suicide. Is there a shortcut this guy won’t take?

I know he’s got a really good gig that he’d never dream of giving up (health aside), but I really want Kerr to take his job so that Mark Jackson’s post-career legacy is Steve Kerr replacing him and finding success where Jackson generated only hatred, missed opportunities and abject failure.

I like this story because in a way it’s uniquely American. It’s about sporting excellence, pride in your accomplishments and not even pretending to understand the concept of moderation.

I read about this earlier today and I thought it was all very odd, particularly since he still made appearances on the show for some years afterward. I also immediately thought of that Adam Scott show about the TV show opening recreations which a few of us were talking about here last week - the Too Close For Comfort…
