I hadn’t read comics in a long time when this meme started popping up and I thought it was funny, but maybe real. After all, they had that Marvel knights line where The Punisher started swearing, why not Moon Knight? Eventually found out it was fake though. Still hilarious.

Oh that paper smell. A few weeks back I pulled out the first appearance of Deadpool which I bought when it came out (‘91) And the smells just brought me back to all those comic shops I frequented back in the day. It was odd to see the yellowing paper that was just newspaper thin. No high-gloss here.

HIMYM and Game of Thrones are very similar (for me anyway) Great shows that I loved in the beginning, that became kind of bad after the initial great seasons. Came back very strong in the early part of the final season. Then were derailed by a terrible finale (though GoT went terrible faster in the final Season,

This is a good interpretation of events. Or at least a plausible explanation for her actions.

In the lead up to Rise of Skywalker I rewatched the other two sequels. The Force Awakens while being a gross retread of New Hope at least made me feel something. I enjoyed the characters, I wanted to see where they would go. The Force Awakens was basically a third of a movie that I really liked (Anything with Rey and

My 4-year old cried when Lizzie went home. She said Lizzie was her favorite. It was a sad moment for her, for all of us. Her final cake was beautiful.

I’m not sure how that is connected as those were clearly two separate people.

Sweet sweet can

I kind of fell in love with Michael Sheen in Good Omens. This keeps the love going.

Don’t forget the persecution. Christians love to say they are being persecuted.

Well, I was looking at Arcane and it seemed up my alley, but you just sold me on it!

There’s a lot of rules, but they are fairly easy to pick up on. My 11 year old with minimal Board Game experience is doing just fine. If you are your go-to guy for rules interpretation, yeah, you won’t be concerned. Currently I’d say the length of the Original game is the only thing that puts me off. Each scenario

My Board Game group has been playing Gloomhaven for a few months now and it has been pretty awesome. The game itself, while complicated, is easy enough to get a handle on. Eventually you’ll start working on tactics instead of trying to remember the rules. Though we still pull out the rulebooks for a lot of situations.

Silent Hill 2 wins all by having “Theme of Laura” the best theme ever.

GTA III really was an amazing game. I played that game nearly nonstop when I got it back then. It turned out that an “Open World” was what I was looking for all my life. In my early time playing it I reflected on how Liberty City had no churches (there was one later in the game) and no children, representing the idea

This has been my experience with most FF games. The closest I got was Final Fantasy (Whatever number, it’s hard to keep track) on the Super Nintendo. I’m pretty sure I could never get by the final boss.

I used to play the arcade version a lot and loved it. I doubt I ever made it past the first level. Damn quarter sucking machines.

I always seem to forget how much I enjoy Travis. I guess maybe they just aren’t too showy, but just very consistently good. I saw them once as a band, and another time with just Fran Healy and the Guitarist Andy Dunlop. That second show was really memorable. Fran is a great storyteller and an affable guy. They met

The worst part of the Pretty in Pink ending is that the totally cool Iona, played by Annie Potts, turns into a yuppie.

When my daughter was four or five she loved Roger Miller. He had some fun songs.
