Ghibli dubs are only that way because they bank on the mistaken (And far too popular) belief that big name Hollywood actors are better at voice acting than actual voice actors with real experience working on anime. This is not one of those dubs.

Wholely innacurate too. Especially the Nicholas Sparks part. It kinda sorta had a Freaky Friday vibe in the early part of the film but only then and not much more than a vibe. The 'Nicholas Sparks' part is probably the dumbest description I've heard for the movie yet.

The dub isn't by Funimation. They're Texas based. It was done in LA.
