I daily drive a CT5 V Blackwing manual. I thought I’d buy it and only keep it a short while, but it has quickly become my favorite car. Traded in a C8 for it and got rid of my Model S.  Everyone who gets in the car leaves with a smile after experiencing the torque and the sound … having a bad day, just put it on track

The problem with having a $100,000,000 yacht is that you immediately get jealous of the person with the $200,000,000 yacht and then you need to build a $300,000,000 yacht.

I just don’t understand rich people. If I had a $100,000,000 yacht and the money to live on it for the rest of my life, I wouldn’t go jeopardizing everything by invading other countries and putting myself at risk of assassination and coup. I’d have just stopped after maybe 12 or 16 years of being president and

Preece was traveling sideways, pushed by another car sideways so he couldn’t help correct himself, went over a kerb that allowed more air underneath and started lifting up the side toward the direction of travel, stayed airborn in that orientation, then hit ground again sideways on it’s lower side which started

On 4. Politically I think it’s more complicated than that. America votes very predictably along geographic lines — city vs. rural is about the best predictor of left/right that we’ve got. It so happens that things like EV range and charging infrastructure (and to a lesser extent the fire risk) are less of a big deal

I rarely thought an SUV could be “beautiful” until I saw the Lincoln Aviator. It’s a surprisingly graceful design from an unexpected source.

The gently falling roofline and relatively low ground clearance for an SUV adds a lot of visual length, and it features just the right amount of brightwork to make it look

I see what you did there, once it was in focus

Ford is going to regret not selling more Broncos while they had the edge.

One of the rare instances where I like the US grille better.

small, light, home made EV... something that runs on a multiple of 12v (probably 48v), easy to find or make batteries for... it’ll last longer than gas... wont wear down tires as fast. the smaller it is, the less solar I’d need to keep it juiced up.

I’d be willing to pay a small subscription for something like the OEM nav getting regular updates, so that I don’t have to use carplay which doesn’t work with the gauge cluster displays etc.

I’d be willing to pay a subscription to get access to new performance settings and tunes as they come out. Revised stability

A couple hours in ER and a lifetime in therapy.

Not enough, he should also have to pay for everyone’s ticket on that plane as well...Better yet, the passengers should have duct tapped him there and kept going. You mess around at 20K feet in the air and you’re getting chocked out.

I would like to master electrical diagnostics. You know, tracing CANBUS issues and ground faults. Those tend to be fairly common on the sorts of cars I buy (depreciated high-end Euro stuff).

Transmission repair and overhaul. So near as I can tell, they work due to black magic. That goes for real ones and automatics.

Darn took it from me, same here. It’s mainly because I’m probably too large of a person to do it lol. My heel toe is basically the left side of my foot on the brake and rolls over to the right to blimp the gas. I can get it down fairly well, but I need full concentration to get it right.

Heel and toe.

What do you even say to this data? If you apply the 20/4/10 rule (which is a slightly generous approach to borrowing for a car) you’re using a 20% down payment, a 4 year term and 10% of your monthly budget. Which means that you have to be earning somewhere around $7k to $10k per month (clear!) if you’re being

“Toyota has been dragging it’s feet - after all, the company only launched its first all-electric model last year.”

That’s exactly why the RC-F doesn’t sell. If you need to have a Lexus, get an IS-F or LC. If you can compromise on reliability for performance, then Caddy and BMW can offer that. And if you bring yourself to drive something pedestrian, then 60k gets you a very nice Mustang or Challenger (and 90k gets you something
