I disagree. If anything, that encounter allowed him to shed his attachment to Anakin and free himself of the guilt he felt over what happened on Mustafar. He chose not to kill Anakin because it was not his place to. Furthermore, it’s not the Jedi way to kill a defenseless opponent. No matter who they are.

Perhaps the tracking capabilities of the SD were needed to pinpoint Obi-Wan’s exact coordinates

Him sparing Anakin/Vader is sort of the whole point. He had already defeated Vader. Executing him would only bring more heat from the Emperor and would directly endanger the twins. Like he says at the end, “the future will take care of itself.” Vader is not Obi-Wan’s monster nor his personal responsibility; only Luke

I can be pretty difficult, actually; but also easy depending on the situation.

Germain, you still aren’t a good writer. Practicing more punctuation and eliminating sentence fragments would serve you very well. It’s painful trying to get through your articles. Mostly because of the horrible flow and near incomprehensible writing style. Word salad galore. Big yikes.

Hahahaha totally.

You seem fun.

That theory makes a lot of sense, seeing how Jedi left behind their sabers and cloaks - as we see with Obi-Wan inspecting them.

I agree! It’s way too much oftentimes.

Good point. But Obi-Wan and the rest of the Jedi were intentionally distracted so Palpatine and Vader could destroy them. It wasn’t just Obi-Wan, but speaks to the hubris of the Jedi as a whole.

Also it’s a different format. The movies are not equal to the TV series.

I think that’s a moot point since he was far too late. She was nearly murdered and she watched all of her friends die. He should have intervened with Anakin but was too preoccupied, as was by design. Reva is blinded by her trauma and need for revenge.

It’s obvious she was really asking why he didn’t stop Anakin - not literally “where were you?”.

It’s pretty astonishing how out of touch so many complainers are in terms of how “bad” this series is. No, this isn’t a cartoon. No, there’s not as much green-screen as Ep. II. To say this series looks and plays as something amateurish is confounding to me. All I see is spoiled brats who are mad that this isn’t

Or: Maybe not everyone shares the same impossible standards and toxic pessimism as SOME Star Wars fans.

Sooo it’s “meh” because you seem to like the cartoons better it seems?

Maybe pick up a hobby or something.

I thought this episode was brilliant - the best yet. The opening sequence showing Vader in his castle on the dramatic landscape of Mustafar, juxtaposed with innocent Leia asking Obi-Wan about the force was brilliant.  All of the scenes with Vader were jaw-droppingly cool. I can’t wait to rewatch this.

Every paragraph is a trainwreck.

Germain, sweetie - you’re a bad writer. I’m so sorry. But every article is so hard to read.
